    I just want to say that a lot of people have told me "I hate green tea" (in the USA). I used to wonder why, but then I realized that I had never tried "cheap Chinese green tea", so I did. Horrible stuff. Once you try good Japanese green tea, it changes you. Ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha green tea, for example, is lightyears ahead of pretty much every other form of matcha green tea you will come across. A lot of places that make matcha green tea products (drinks, smoothies, etc) use cheaper grades and the other ingredients in the product usually cover up the poorer quality, but there is nothing like a cup of proper matcha green tea. I have yet to be able to get hold of high-quality sencha, but it is on my to-get list. I also plan on getting my own tea plants to try my hand at making my own sencha. To anyone who thinks green tea is gross, they should really try proper green tea. I presume there are higher and lower qualities of black tea, but I'm not much of a black tea drinker.

    Im from the U.S never been to Japan, never really drank tea, still big on coffee. But for a couple years now I have been buying japanese green tea from some of these farms. I notice I lose weight faster drinking Japanese green tea. They work hard through a whole process making the tea have more nutrients then anyother and I think that contributes to faster weightloss. Its beautiful what they do and I dont mind paying the extra money for the tea after learning about the whole process.

    It's good that the Japanese teas I bought last year are organic.
    At the tea shop where I bought my green tea, they sell a lot of organic Japanese teas, 128 organic tea, I also counted the larger packs, so there are slightly fewer varieties and 20 non-organic teas.

    • @mpk6664
      @mpk6664 3 года назад

      Nearly all Japanese tea is organic. The organic label is just used as a way to increase profits for often lower quality stuff. The farmers have to pay in order to get the label.

    • @askialuna7717
      @askialuna7717 2 года назад

      @@mpk6664 I know that some farmers cannot afford organic certification, but still, many teas grown for soft drinks and cheap supermarket teas in Japan are rather not grown without pesticides from chemical companies.

    I once went to a teashop many years ago and I had the most wonderful Jasmine green tea I've ever tasted! That teashop closed down and I had spent many years searching for green tea mostly in the prepackaged box stuff made in America. Everyone I tried tasted like dirt and Earth and was absolutely awful. It was not until this last November that I discovered tea-seller that imports authentic Jasmine green tea. From that I have tried quality black tea, oolong tea and white tea. I discovered every type of tea bought from this store that imported it that nothing pre-packaged could ever compare. Every single tea that I tasted changed my whole perspective on the package tea that I have known my whole life. Many people that try the package tea and have a bad experience most likely will never experiment with anything beyond what is at the supermarket and that is so sad. Drinking quality tea for me has turned into a ceremony that is so beautiful again and I'm so happy I'm not limited to that junk in boxes.

    • @Nioteas
      @Nioteas  Год назад

      Yes I feel the same exact way! Everyone is perplexed that we can care so much about tea because they think that there is nothing beyond the bagged stuff you get in grocery stores. There is a huge world of tea that opens up once you go beyond these and it can be a really exciting process to explore and learn different kinds. We would love for you to try our teas some day and let us know what you think about them: nioteas.com/collections/sencha-tea

    So what brands of green tea are the best if going to a supermarket store in USA 🇺🇸 what do you recommend as the best to buy? As a lot of green teas are not Japanese here or are low quality! How do you know the real from fake stuff?
