Synology Migration! (2021 Tutorial)

Hi Everyone!
In this video I finally get an upgrade! I go from a Synology DS415+ to a Synology DS1821+. This allows me to have a total of 8 drives, 32GB of RAM, 2NVME slots and a Ryzen processor! In this video I go over the process of migrating over to your new Synology.

A couple of questions:
1) were both NAS units connected to LAN (online) when you did the migration?
2) was this before DSM 7? (I'm leary of moving to DSM 7, and it looks like the migration automatically updates the new unit to the most current DSM- or does it offer sticking with 6.xx DSM?)
