❤❤❤love everting and my knockout roses are in full bloom nowhere I South Louisiana ( Acadiana ) I live in rural Lafayette, Louisiana!, my back yard is just full of Mexican petunia’s (purple) and rose of Sharon in light lavender with maroon centers , Xenia’s are about to bloom and along my wooden fences I have grandpa Otis morning glories these a dark purple with pink in the centers !! Lots of banana trees that produce sweet bananas every summer , pink crepe myrtle trees and light pink wild hibiscus 🌺 these are all perennials along with yellow iris and an antique ground cover that is green with tiny yellow daises !! My Cana Lillie’s are red with the maroon and dark green leaves !!Ilove the way you explain every thing ! Such a great learning experience from you as well as relaxing 🦋🌹🌿🌺🥰
Oh no! So far none and hope it stays that way. Try googling remedies and see what you can find. I read it helps when you put coffee grounds at the base of the plant. Think I’m going to try that to prevent it . You can do soap and water for natural remedy in a spray bottle with a strong nozzle. Hope that helps!
In the back is just morning sun. I do have another Peony in the front of the house that gets full sun and does great. I think morning sun is better for them and not the “blazing” full sun.🌺🌺🌺
Also, did the tag tell you where to put them? If not, do morning sun, make sure they get sun but not “ blazing sun”. They have a lot of new varieties now. Also, only plant 1-2” below the soil, otherwise they will not bloom. You will not get blooms now but hopefully next year. Which ones did you get?
@@alexandrinavictoriagarden583 I have the Sarah Bernhardt and Kansas peony varieties. The tag only says ‘sun’ so from your advice I won’t put them where they will get full hot afternoon sun. Thank you!
Lovely flowers! 😍 I love that peony that came with your house. What a bonus!
