@@UltimateBaseballTraining is there any exercise which can help with keeping the head locked and following through the swing until initial contact? I have a feeling that just before swing my eyes and head are already focused/turned on the field?! Thank you
@@alpantelic2177 play pepper and Imag8ne the baseball is a beach ball and also just look at the ball dont look at the pitchers eyes look at the ball watch the ball hit the bat and just flow through. Also, there is a game called pepper where someone throws you a ball and you just tap it back I know it seems like it does not work but it does please trust me also if you have bad vision get baseball googles you will look cool and it works. Also maybe go to the eye doctor and get your eyes checked
I have always been a decent hitter but I think this would def. Help me. Thanks for your time man! 38 yrs old and still playing Baseball by the Grace of God. I love this game!
Both eyes on the ball is really great advice. I think back to my playing days and just in this video I'm noting two mistakes I made. I was nearsighted, still am, and it has stayed about the same all my life. I got used to navigating without glasses. That might explain why I dominated in softball and barely got a hit in baseball -- nevermind that I was a pitcher. I was so bad at the plate that the coach DH'd for me when I was playing the field...and he liked me there because of my glove. But squaring up your eyes to the ball...that is binocular and helps with depth perception. The only reason I'd like to be 17 again is everything I know about baseball now that I didn't 50 years ago.
Am really struggling with contact with the ball and seems I just can't focus and things look blurry. Planning on getting my eyes checked this week. Didn't have the issue last year. Thanks by the way great video 👍
I agree with the eyes getting checked. I had pretty bad vision and I never realized it. I have contacts now and trust me I can definetly see the ball better.
I’m a college juco player currently 0 for my last 9 I feel like I have not been seeing the ball very well lately and I really wanna break out out of this slump that I’m in. What should I focus on when I do my hitting work coach Justin ?
My son wanted to start playing baseball again after he quit two years ago. Now all of his friends are advanced (10yr olds ). I’ve watched many of your videos and have worked with him in the yard but lately he stopped hitting at games . His last 3 games he stuck out every game . I will be working with him tomorrow after school and hopefully Wednesday he will hit. He wasn’t really holding the bat right and he’s so focused on “lock and load” and “arms up and back” that he is overwhelmed. Meanwhile when he was not so focused on all of that he was hitting . I really want him to do well , I played as a kid so did my husband .
Drugs are so big out here where we live . I want to keep him as athletic and busy as possible with baseball and hopefully when he hits High school , he will wrapped up with playing ball.
Good video man i like this one its really helpful. Also the keep ur eyes fresh is good and useful. And at the beginning like u said check ur eyes. I had problems seeking the ball and until i went and checked my eyes. Now the difference is great and im better now. Anyway great hacks and keep it up man really good job
As an outfielder, my eyesight isn’t exactly the best. Its difficult sometimes to pick up the ball off of the bat and keep track of it to make the play. Outside of potentially having to wear contacts or prescription shades, what could I do to try to improve reading the ball?
my kid (college player) is playing legion ball this summer. Went 0-18 with 9 Ks in first 6 or 7 games. I watched your video, had him try out your technique. In the next 3 games he went 4-8 with 3 HRs. I don't know. Maybe it works.
