In this video I answer the question from Peter Raber that reads "What's a good drill to help 9-11 year olds see the ball? In our area they are coming up from coach pitch and live pitching is destroying the bulk of the league."

Awesome video, do you recommend machine cage work at 13u for an elite travel ball player. It’s good but they are alsways the same speed the same place. We have a full Astro turf cage at home but my mom can only throw about 45 and my dad can’t throw the same height as me. What should I do

I was wondering I usually have my back foot(right) turned my foot in to the left and it is pigeon toed because of coaches teaching me that and I was wondering if that is right and if it is holding me back. Thank you!

How do you suggest transitioning from pitching to hitting? My mindset seems off when I go from pitching to hitting.

    Hey, I need some help.
I really like baseball and want to start playing, but I think it is too late.
I am in the eighth grade, so the first time I play will be in high school. Should I play or is it too late, and how can I catch up to everyone else? PLEASE HELP!!! Please respond.

Also what position should I play?

Lots of great athletes didn’t start until late, even in baseball. Tim Anderson and Lorenzo Cain didn’t start until they were well into high school. Catcher probably has the biggest learning curve , but see what you’re good at and try to work on drills to improve that. If you’re good at fielding ground balls, work on an infield position. If you can hit but aren’t a great fielder, work on first base. If you have a good arm/good movement on pitches, give pitching a shot (though be sure to take care of your arm). Good luck!

You should start with something simple like 2B or Right Field go to some batting cages and work on you Swing make sure you have a USA bat

The problem I see, if the young live pitchers can’t throw over the plate then it’s taking away from the ability to get a hit, and get better at hitting.

Is this video filmed with a drone? The constantly changing camera angles while you talk darn near make me nauseous. Filming aside....great video!
