Hope you enjoy my performance of Ludovico Einaudi's Experience.
Hello, I'm Rousseau, I make piano covers of classical and pop songs with a reactive visualizer.
#Rousseau #ClassicalPiano #PianoCover #piano #LudovicoEinaudi #Experience - Видеоклипы
Merry Christmas!! Here is a little gift to you all, from me. It's not the classic jolly carol or not even really Christmas themed like the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy from last year, but I think this piece best sums up what this year has been - managing to capture both the happy and the sad in one short and ever repeating, yet subtly changing theme: an experience. It's been over 2 years since the last Ludovico video, and I'd say without a doubt he's been the most requested composer since, so to end this strange year, a return to something familiar and comforting is in order. I'm wishing you all the best for 2021, a year ago we had no clue what was in store for us in 2020, let's hope that this next year will be a much more positive surprise. Thank you all for tuning in, and Merry Christmas ♥
Please do not leave us again😥
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I think Ludovico Einaudi is probably the master of repetition. His melodies are simple but with the slightest of changes he's able to convey so much emotion. I can usually play his compositions to a decent level and i am so happy that i am able to play such beautiful pieces. I have been playing the piano for 10 years (and the flute for 12 XD). I started when i was 8 years old and while i stopped having lessons a while ago i never lost my love for playing and songs like this are why i still love it so much. :)
Started playing at 6 years old and stopped lessons when I went to college. In my 30's now and I don't play as much, but i'll learn and play a piece once or twice a year. I'm just grateful I can still read music and learn a piece whenever I want to. Great skill to have and I hope you continue to play going forward :D
Just started to learn this piece and WHAT IS THAT!!!!! 1:04 THE HELL IS THAT CHORD!!! I have very smol hands i only get a octave if i stretch XD Gonna have to play it differently cause of my tiny hands.
Just started learning basics 3 weeks ago. I'm quite getting hang of it, but still has a lot to learn.

I'm not speak English, sorry. But I need talk about my favorite song.
Experience é a minha música favorita.
Sempre choro ao escutar essa música, pq ela me curou, ela me fez voltar a vida. Ela e apenas ela. Quando ninguém estava comigo no meu pior momento, ela estava lá. E conseguiu acabar com o peso do meu corpo, mente e alma.
Só tenho a agradecer ao Ludovico por essa magnífica obra que me ajudou no emu pior momento.
Obrigada. 04/02/23
Hey man, I'm so happy RUclips has a translate feature because it's so great to be able to read stuff like this from non-English speakers!
I've been in the dark, depressed places you described and I'm so glad the song helped you. It really is a beautiful piece of music. I hope your life is happier now :)
You had tell us the main reason of this song 💞
You depressed more😶

I lost my boyfriend on January 10, 2022. suicide. he wanted to leave and sadly he made it. this song brings back to light the memories I have of us, and the reasons why it's worth living. thank you Rousseau for making this composition even more special. a kiss 💖
I'm so sorry. I lost my best friend to suicide when I was 15. I'm in my 40s now and although in time it gets a little easier, it's the most selfish thing you can do. I medicated myself with drugs and alcohol for half of my life and have made several attempts myself. But music like this helps me grieve with its stunningly but bittersweet melodies. Again, I am so sorry for your loss but just know he's no longer hurting.. and I'm sorry that you are. I don't know you at all but if you need a friend I'm right here. It helped me in the beginning to talk to people that have lost loved ones in the same way. Hang in there friend .
people need God in their lives...that's the missing key
i lost my friend at may 26, 2023. she was my first friend as girl in my life (i was 16). i never saw her irl cuz we was for almost whole time in diff countries (me Ukraine, she Poland). we was speaking in messenger for 4 months (i met her from my old friend at end of january 2023). at first days i helped her so much after she broke up with my friend (they both was in Poland). after this we was just talking, helping each other, just enjoying, but she said she has problems with heart after born and she need before summer 2023 operation. operation can give some chances to live but not 100%. operation was successful, but unlucky she didnt lived. i will remember her for my whole life as first and best girl i ever met.
My best friend killed himself last year in May. He leaked nude photos of himself and people threatened blackmail. Because he was in a very conservative and religious family, he killed himself to avoid the shame. He was very smart and talented, and was going to study at the University of Michigan. But now he’s dead.

I was traveling about a month ago now and the airport I was in to go to Greece there was a piano by the seating area. I thought it would be amazing if someone played like in all those YT videos you see around, but didn’t expect it to happen. Then this young girl (early 20s likely) came up and played this beautiful piece and I was mesmerized by it. Just sat, listened, and enjoyed the moment. Ludovico Einaudi is a genius
@@cappingbeara3212 sure. You tell yourself that :)
@@kgroveringer03 Going to rant about Ludovico hurting your ego? Keep your negative spite elsewhere, it is genuinely pathetic. You claim to be enraged by his works and then search his works up. Quite funny.
@@rjrunthat Never searched him up in the first - the video got put in my recommended, for whatever reason. I dislike Einaudi as much as I do for the fact that he calls himself a Classical composer but writes what are basically just pop songs. I don’t hate pop either; I just hate that he thinks he’s this high-and-mighty genre-defining composer when he’s doing nothing that Philip Glass, Steve Reich or the other minimalists haven’t done already. All his music is so repetitive, simplistic and uses the same 4-chord progression, it’s pointless trying to tell them apart because it all sounds the same. I’d forgive him if he was a) more humble and b) used different/longer/more interesting chord progressions, harmonies and melodies. He’s the Kenny G of Classical music, completely rejecting anything his teacher Berio taught him. That’s why I hate him.
@@kgroveringer03 The word is quite literally minimalism. At some point, it will definitely sound alike, however I see it as no different to a few segments of Italian Polka sounding alike to Hungarian Rhapsody No.1/2.
My statement is still true. Your spite isn't needed. He claims to enrage you, yet you clicked on the video and decide to be passive aggressive towards someone for their own subjective opinion, instead of simply clicking the three dots in a column and clicking "Not Intersted". Your opinion is that you hate him, cool. Let others think of him the way they want to. He appeals to the mainstream crowd rather than the classical enthusiasts, so be it.
Again, keep it to yourself.
This song makes me imagine an old man on a rocking chair going through the photo albums of his life .
How he started as a kid; carefree, joyful and cheery. Then he grew up and met the love of his life, had ups and downs, had children, watched them grow, watched them leave, watched his love taking their last breath. And now he is the same him as he started; ALONE. He's nostalgic about reminiscing the past, feeling anger, happiness, love, hate, fear, joy and ..... suddenly it's calm again . He says goodbye to this world just to start a new journey somewhere else !
I’m about to cry😭 yes I can see that too😌
To born. To live. To die.
Remind me not to touch my album photo when I'm old, that way I can stay immortal, poor dude died from overreacting to his pics-
This made me cry
That exactly describes Queen Elizabeth's life.
RIP Eternal Queen. She'll be reigning from heaven.
Whenever I hit a challenging time at work or life in general, I always come back to this song. To me, it sings the story of happiness, pain, loss, and also the eventual redemption and joy that comes after making it through those struggles. It truly helps me fight on.
i’m proud of you :)
I remembered when I first saw this arrangement a few days after its release and here i am 3 years later almost mastering the whole song. Thank you Rousseau for inspiring me!
I once read under a Einaudi's video that his music is like different types of pizzas: same base, but everytime some different ingredients and fillings.
That's the best explanation. His music isn't repetitive, it's just different delicious pizzas.
In Italy everything is a food analogy and I love it
I completely agree with that description.
As a composer who used to do that (same base, different melodies).

I just learned how to play this song. I've been self-teaching myself for about a half a year now, and 3 months ago I would never have thought I'd ever finish this beautiful piece.
Whoever's out there that's doubting themselves, YOU CAN DO IT! Keep practicing, and you'll get it in no time.
Was it complicated? How much did it take you to learn it ?
@@juliansmantillap8767It was definitely complicated to start out. I would basically practice the right hand repetitions from 0:39 over and over again until I got it. Then I'd practice the other right hand parts parts until I got those, then moved onto the left hand parts.
It's different for everyone, but I found that the left hand motions were a lot easier than the right hand ones. It's just a matter of being able to play both of them at the same time, which requires continuous practice.
@@juliansmantillap8767I'm sure it might be quicker or slower for others depending on how much they practice, but I practiced for 20-30 mins every single night. It took me about a week and a bit to master the right hand repetitions.
Thanks for the answer
What about the part where your left hand has to play the F C and A as a chord? My hand isn’t big enough to reach all of those. Do u just gave big enough hands for it?

You're running through a forest. Which one, you don't know. The trees here stretch skyward with no visible end. You're tiny compared to them, to the universe, and it's suffocating. Each step you take, it hurts, moving on. Your mind keeps going back to where you came from, where you entered the forest.
You don't remember. All you ever knew was the forest.
The trees thin around you, and you can see only a dazzling blue. You forge onwards, because that's all you can do. Head forwards only, no matter how much you try to cling on to something.
You enter an oasis. The blue, you notice, is the blue one sees in the ocean. It's fitting, because, you notice, the blue is water. A beautiful waterfall cascades over smooth grey-black stones, falling into a small pond. All of it is surrounded by marble pillars, gleaming white and carved with designs. The area appears to glow with life, with light, with hope. It's a welcome relief from the harshness and darkness of the forest.
You try to stay as long as you can, but this time, you don't cling on to a pillar, don't clutch onto the stones as if your very existence depends on it.
You're pulled by the invisible string of fate back into the forest, and this time, you don't fight it.
It's not over.
It's far from over.
But you, for a minute, for a second, for a hour, saw happiness. Saw a glimpse into the future, where things, maybe, would be alright.
And that's enough for now. The light, the oasis, it never left you. It's there, hidden deep within your soul, but it's there.
Whatever you're going through, it'll end, sooner or later.
Don't give up. The oasis is just a little farther.
You can make it.
the most beautiful thing

@@displayclayton3407 Not even every week, but there was a time when he uploaded two times a week: on Mondays and Thursdays. We can only wish that it happens again...
@@displayclayton3407 I'm sure they know that Rousseau used to upload frequently, it's a joke about how inactive his channel has become this year
Also the first one was just his previous videos put together
Well yeah, but he said that his real job has messed up his schedule, so he couldn’t upload as often.
The original song and this cover are the one of the reasons I'm here today. About a year ago I discovered this piece for the first time and it gave me energy. Music is extremely powerful, and the eXpERiEnCe it gives can be life changing.
This is an indescribable feeling. The whole range of emotions from joy to pain. I want to cry because we miss a lot of opportunities and waste time. It feels like this song is saving people's lives literally and figuratively. I'm ready to listen to her forever. It's unbelievable.
Me: Man I can't wait until he uploads next monday!

ive been playing paino for about 10 years now (im 14) and over time i kinda shied away from the piano cus i didnt wanna be seen as "weird" by ppl at school. you dont see many 14 year olds who listen to classical music and have favourite pianists and composers lmaoo. but its pieces like these and pianists like einaudi which remind me how powerful one instrument can be, and just how lucky i am to be able to play it. the fact that you can imagine a whole story in your head and almost create a narrative for yourself from a song that doesnt have any lyrics has always blown my mind. the piano has always been a part of my life, i couldnt imagine myself without my horribly out of tune, sounds like a dying cat, older than my great grandmother piano. ive met loads of ppl on social media who, like me, havent fully expressed their love for music because of other peoples opinions. and if you see this, its a sign to say, go. go and babble to your friends about ludovico einaudi and franz liszt about how insane they are. go spend your time fulfilling your dream to be what you wanna be. go and sit at the piano for hours on end just to hear each key make its unique sound and get blown away by it every time. because no one else can take away or fuel your own love for music, a love thats rewarding and expressive. music is art, anyone who says otherwise is wrong. music is expression, love, hate, words that you cant say, the tears that dried up, the laughter that makes your tummy hurt, its for the lost and the found. no matter what you go through, music will always be there for you. it doesnt matter if your going through the worst thing ever or the best thing ever, theres nothing that music cant guide you through. no one can take music away, not from me and not from you. not from anyone. this cover reminded me exactly that. that music is eternal. thank you, rousseau. seriously, thank you.
You’re cool. Don’t let them tell you otherwise.
you wrote all that for 16 likes LOL
@@emiliecampbell4223 I've been playing the piano for 11 years tbh I don't care if my friends don't give a shit about my talent, because they don't have one
@@recon741 you clearly dont know what its like to have been made fun of because of what brings you happiness. and i hope it stays that way, but ive seen so many people like me who have almost given up on their dreams because of what other people think. not everyone is as confident as you, please learn to respect that. also, i didnt comment that for likes, i commented it because i know there are people like me who needed reassurance. if that comment made 16 people at least a tiny bit happier, or more confident, or feel appreciated, then it was worth it

Like a year ago I begged my friend who plays violin to play experience. I wanted to play but I was not a musician at the time. I never gave up. And I started taking piano lessons like three months ago. Ludovico Einaudi gave me a huge inspiration. And during this 3 months I’ve been playing small, short classic musics. And I found out there was going to be a talent show at my school. So I started to learn this masterpiece and it took only 3 days. I got gold medal. EXPERIENCE is the key of my aspiration, passion, inspiration, idk it just gave me the start.
I really want to learn how to play the piano JUST for this song and another instrumental called “arrival of birds” but i feel like I’m to old. (18)
@@josephine3122 I just started learning and I’m turning 18 soon, you aren’t too old
@@josephine3122 I know I'm probably late but I Just want to let you know that I started to play piano(self-taught) about One year ago and I was 18 . After One year I'm approaching to this piece and It Is very easy technically talking . So trust me , you can do this. And also , there are people Who start learning piano at 70 so at 18 you can't be defined old HAHA
I am 15 and had my sister's concert last weekend. Along with her were around 20 other pianists aged between 7-18. They each played a different song. 2 songs were composed by Einaudi (the songs chosen were Nuvole Bianche and i Giorni). What I can say is that I felt jealous to all those students being able to play such different masterpieces while I could not. So, I applied to the same teacher of all these students and am now 3rd on the waiting list; and one thing is for sure - when I am able to, the first thing I will learn is this masterpiece. Mind you, I am turning 16 in 2 months and yes I didn't start at 8 or 10, but I'll still be able to play these amazing masterpieces just like this one in the near future, so yes, it is never too late
I’m trying to do the same thing, I don’t play piano but I just want to learn this song & play it for my nana when my granddad eventually passes
I think this is one of the greatest music to ever exist! I gotta say I really do love these relaxing piano songs

I thought I was no longer able to cry and yet this song made me cry like I haven't done for so many years. Shivers, goosebumps, memories, your life just start flashing before your eyes... too many emotions, you try a timid attempt to resist but you can't help but cry.
There a reason why piano is consider the saddest instrument and the organ to be the father of instruments
This is the best song i have ever listened in my life ❤😢i cannot describe this song
This is a song that should play over a 6 minute summary of human history, it’s themes and melodies capture quite well the diversity and unpredictability of human existence. Some melodies are more subdued, somber, and at some moments, haunting, much like the part of our human nature that needs, and yearns for conflict and destruction, and how we’ve more than satisfied that yearning in the past. Yet, at the same time, this piece has triumphant, courageous, and inspiring melodies, telling us that despite us being inherently evil creatures, we’ve also in the past and in our current day come together side by side, working together to achieve a better future, not for us who don’t deserve a better future, but for our children and their children, who are still innocent, and how, in spite of our disagreements, we can all unite under the most adverse of circumstances.
Rousseau, I want to tell you something; as an amateur pianist, I really respect and admire the work and effort that you put into making your content. And even then, I still don’t think I realize the amount of effort that you put into what you do. And though you have 3 1/2 million subscribers, I still think you’re underrated. You’re one of my biggest piano inspirations, especially in the classical genre. If it wasn’t for you, I might not even be playing piano right now. I even watch some of your videos with my family sometimes. You got mad talent. Much love♥️and Merry Christmas to you🎄
I am the same! A pianist that started by watching Rousseau with my family. He's my greatest inspiration. This is amazing.
I appreciate that this guy brought the piano to a wider audience, but lets be honest here:
He got mad talent in what? In making visualisations? Agree.
In Piano?
I want to see a recording without the rendered overlay and with an actual existing clock, or I call this and all the other channels doing this kind of videos "fake".
"Fake" in quotation marks because he actually never says that he is playing. So there is some room for interpretation.
Im 98% sure that he records his hands and edit the videos in 10-25% speed with a midi running in the back. Hes not playing at all.
The remaining 2% go in the direction that even the hands are cgi/vfx. We live in 21 century, you can make whole movies without real persons. A pair of low res hands in a dark background, probably no problem.
I only know one instrument on the market with this led stuff on the keys (komplete kontrole s88). No ambitious pianist with serious skill would use this 900$ crap, it doesnt even have real pedals. But it has all the edit stuff included studio artists and composer uses, and what someone would have to use to make oneself look like a good pianist.
My opinion is based on:
- 25 years of playing piano
- owning 3 real instruments and one high end e-piano
- countless recitals, competitions, experiences on playing on dozens of instruments
- I saw close to every single top pianist live, several times. Kissin, Hamelin, Trifonov, Zimmer, Brendl.. you name it.
- there are several fishy details all over the recordings, especially the more difficult ones
- and last but not least, my common sense that random guys that pop up on youtube and "violate" every single rule of verifying a performance (clock to show its not sped up, camera position that show there are not cuts etc. etc) arent on a comparable level with the above mentioned top tier pianists.
@@gerdokurt Wow. Heh, heh. Tbh I've been completely uncertain for some time about how legit Rousseau's piano-playing is. (And other RUclipsrs.) There are literally online discussions about it. My conclusion: uncertain....
