@@oisinoneill7251 if you cant afford the official shirt off of the brand or the football team then you shouldn't be shopping for one in the first place
The issue for me is the £70 for a basic, new shirt, which is a rip off. Tottenham are still selling last seasons old shirt for £48.75. I saw Glasgow Rangers selling theirs for £10. Even Retro shirts in Spurs shop (with a Made in China tag in them) cost £40. If clubs were less greedy they could kill the fake market stone dead.
Amen. This the main thing. My club is crap so people always miss the fact that no profit and no profit are equal.. I wouldn’t wanna give money to owners I want out. If they don’t get my money cos they’re bad and I avoid the shirt or don’t get my money cos they’re bad and I don’t wanna use their store then it’s the same difference When my club does well I don’t mind spending the extra bit. People who can’t afford any shirts won’t buy any real shirts so it’s not like the money was ever there. They’re not losing out, not if they listened to your comment Anyway. I don’t care. Sure they’re all still rich. Can’t say it will effect small clubs either cos no one will fake their kits. All these make a lot of the big clubs which is not that many in comparison to how many teams are actually in the football world. It’s just the clubs who are already rich af. Say maybe someone like Everton would need the extra money but I don’t think that big a percent of people would be moving away to fake sites that it would leave a real mark on their balance Have I coped enough to justify it? England 2022 shirts for Qatar cost about £100, but costs £11 to make and workers making them get paid £1 and hour. I have no guilt buying fake shirts. Maybe if they had realistic prices then I’d buy originals.
Ellis: it has been proven that people have been trafficked for making fake shirts. Next sentence: the saddest part of this video that people buy these thinking their real
Well here in Kolkata, India, we have a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) market of football jerseys. More than 90% of them are fake and they are laughably bad. I only saw an Arsenal kit with a Barcelona crest before. And its kind of understandable as they are literally 2 or 3 USD. There are real shirts in the market too (at the same price) but its like finding gold in a coal mine. You should come over once and review these football shirts, its literally heaven for all football lovers here and you can get ANY shirt from here.
I'm sure someone already mentioned this.. Replicas is a word now used for official genuine merchandise of the team/league. Official genuine replica/fan and authentic/player shirts.
i think there’s only 1% or 2% of football fans in my country buy real offical football shirts, the prices are too high for almost everyone, the fake shirts are really popular and you can buy them anywhere, and the real ones are not too available.
If football shirts were $50 then I would buy the real thing every single time. I'm not going to spend $100-$150 on a damn piece of fabric that's going to be outdated in one year anyway. If you only support and care about buying shirts from 1 or 2 teams you support then I would absolutely recommend buying the real thing, but if you enjoy collecting cool shirts no matter the club or country then I think buying fakes is the only viable option unless you're rich as hell.
I hate the fact football shirts are £60-70 new these days, i buy them when theyre just releasing a new shirt and buy the previous shirt then, yeah its a year ‘out of date’, but they usually cost half price or less than they are brand new
I tried to buy a Manchester united with ronaldo's name at a Instagram count and I notice they were fake. So I ask the seller if the shirt was a fake and he got mad at me telling me that he was a responsible seller. He show me the tags and after I search them in google and notice that they didnt match with the real kit. Btw the shirt was like 90 usd. I finally found it at a group on fb even more cheaper and original.
I love collecting football shirts, particularly Man Utd,I bought a few home jerseys 94/96 and 96/98 made by umbro,I also bought the same from eBay,long sleeve but raised logo and not screen printed, obviously remakes but decent quality
I’ve bought from dh gate before no difference in quality just as good other than any patches on jersey which need to be cleaned with water and detergent and hanged rather than using a machine
Im with you i just got a authentic signed jersey thats fake signatures real . If they make fakes that look the same i dnt mind i wouldnt care but you can tell
Great video! Its so genuinely fucking annoying for us collectors and sellers. Remakes are easy to spot though it all just goes down to the same phrase, if its too good to be true then 100% it probably is!
Not everyone can afford them. I used to buy replicas until I literally got my first “big boy” job and I started my proper collection. Some fakes are nice too. Additional I like to wear my shirts so for some years like 1990,1991… i could never find a authentic one less one in decent condition.
Maybe Aldi should stop selling ‘fake’ branded items? Don’t see the harm in fake shirts, people can’t afford new shirt costs or even fork out for retro shirts £50 + as you mentioned. I personally don’t own any fake shirts but I would be tempted to buy one just to satisfy the retro nostalgia in me from the 90s.
That Mbappe one is actually authentic though Ellis to be fair, just misprinted. Another good thing to note for anyone that sees the comment, asks sellers to see the inside tags of the shirt and then google the numbers on the tags, if they come up on google they will be real. If they’re not willing to show tags or the shirt doesn’t come up, AVOID‼️‼️🚩😁
Ive gotten scammed by this website called jerseysfc I even reached out to them before buying a kit and they said it was authentic and all. When it came to my house i checked everything and it was clearly fake
Let me tell you. We in India have official and real Jerseys and kits starting at Rupees 5000 (Around 550 euros, 678 US dollars). With kids and new players and fans who just can't afford this huge price, they go for replicas and master copies, which are literally no different than the original ones. There is minimal difference in farbric and quality. We can afford to wear a piece of unoriginal cloth for rupees 500 (5.5 euros/ 6.7 us dollars), rather than spending huge amount of our monthly salaries for wearing an 'original' kit. I hope you understand and take this sportingly. I don't think there's much wrong in making and buying replicas as it's affordable and satisfactory for the poor and middle class people.
I once bought a Lazio shirt. I was so happy for finnaly got the shirt that i always wanted. When ir arrived, the eagle of the crest dosnt had head and the quality was awful. One of the saddest days of my life. I never get that shirt.
2:26 This guy is a legend. Was looking for websites with fake shirts and this guy is listing them for us. Your video here came up in my search for fake shirts. I have spent a lot on official shirts and will continue to. But am sick of spending so much money on the replica shirts all the time from the official stores and direct sites, which to me are fake anyway as ideally I want the authentic ones that the player wears but they are now £100 or more. The replica shirts sold by the official clubs to me is just another fancy word of saying fake. Why should we support club sales who are also ripping us off with these replica fan shirts. Once in a while I want the option to buy fake shirts of my choosing as a cheaper option if I feel like it. So thank you for posting the list, keep updating and I'll research all of them to see which ones are the best fake shirt websites to purchase from as well as the one site u mentioned.
I remember bartering with shop vendors in Mexico to be buying fake shirts. I believe of my 50sih, 5 are fake and I just wear them for training cause who wants to damage a nice shirt eh? Silver linings.
It's not I can't afford the real ones but for me, it's a cost issue, I'd rather not pay £70 which in my view is a rip-off to fund these already ridiculously wealthy manufacturers and clubs or pay £12 for pretty much the same product, I only wear them in the gym and 5-a-side anyway and for the cost of a "real shirt" I can get 5/7 of different random teams I like, I've also found some "fakes" to actually last longer than some real shirts where I've had the sponsors peel etc. As long as you're not selling them or trying to pass them off if anyone asks I think there is no harm in it.
I agree about shirts being overpriced, I hate it, but the Club has no say in the pricing. That is all on the manufacturer. The conundrum is that by bypassing the manufacturer, the Club you support doesn’t get its royalty. Your money is going directly into the pocket of thieves.
@@awaydaysfootball I'd argue though your typing this reply on an apple device, while wearing x clothes, I'd say the legit brands are just as bad as the cowboys if not worse considering the profit margins they make in regards to manufacturing, there is countless examples of not just shirt manufacturers but all industries mistreat supply chains, it's like saying are you going to watch the next world cup? The human rights and deaths for that already are insane but people will turn a blind eye to human rights and other such things when it suits
Don't mind fake retro shirts especially when they are done well... who wants to pay 200 quid for a stinking faded 30 35 year old shirt?...not me... I'd rather pay 30 40 quid for a outstanding fake retro...not interested in modern rip off one season wonder kits anyway
I actually dont care if im buying a replica i usually buy them from a page in IG for 20 euros i prefer giving that to someone selling réplicas than paying 80 euros to some corrupt club giving them some more money
Replica shirts save money I don't see a problem in it but I'd advice to physically go and buy it rather than buy it from dodgy online stores. There are few good online stores though which sell master copied jersey at reasonable prices. There's no problem in it really because real shirts are sometimes way out of budget
I think your target here shouldn’t be fake shirt sellers, we need to target football clubs for pushing fans to buy fake shirts. I’m a Middlesbrough fan and they’ve released a hoodie for £75, the same hoodie through errea without the club crest is £22. So why are Middlesbrough up selling the hoodie for x3 the price. Disgusting and pushing fans away from the clubs
No. How can I get Flamengo shirts in Britain? Where do they sell them? Adidas doesn’t sell them on the UK site. I go to DH Gate for my stuff. I do realise that I’ve bought a fake as I can’t get the real stuff or the price is astronomical.
Replicas aren’t fake, replica shirts are what’s on sale to the public not game shirts, clubs have started selling game shirts that are 30-40 quid more. They are shirts that are “replicated” from the original, but yeah fakes are fakes
To be honest buying an an authentic 120$ plus jersey is a waste you're not playing professional football you're just a fan a replica is fine even a bootleg jersey is fine and won't take the love you have for your club
I live in Canada and many people here wont know. If it looks nice I can still rep my country and not have topay a shit ton of money, why not. Times are not easy dude
It’s ok for posh boys like you that have lots of money to buy jerseys. I bought 2 Liverpool jerseys a few years ago from China and compared it to my sons real one bought in a shop and there was no difference whatsoever except one was made in Thailand and the other in Singapore.
Thanks for the vid! But how do you know for sure that for example that Dortmund shirt isn’t a fake one? And how do you make the difference between a fake and a real shirt in the charity shops you visit? Is it based on quality? thanks! Trying to start my own collection so any tip is welcome 😃

It’s a popular market unfortunately, people jump on the bandwagon. Fake football shirts are the main reasons behind my trust issues
I hate the fact football shirts are £60-70 new these days, i buy them when theyre just releasing a new shirt and buy the previous shirt then, yeah its a year ‘out of date’, but they usually cost half price or less than they are brand new
Yeah that’s my tactic. Come the end of the season you can bag some amazing shirts cheap
This video felt like a kid doing a presentation in school 😂 love u ellis and that palace x juve is a beauty
Maybe some people can’t afford £70 for a shirt each season when they can spend £10 on 1:1 fake shirt, it’s a no brainier
All those pages on depop 😂
omg literally, all with about two reviews and endless fake classic kits for about £30 hahah
When they deny they’re from China yet it takes 3 weeks to ship lol
If course they're from China!!
Love that!
Sorry for my bad english, Greetings from México.
I've got a signed one top hanging up in my room and I just checked the label to see if it was fake and turns out it is
Oh no 😬
I love collecting football shirts, particularly Man Utd,I bought a few home jerseys 94/96 and 96/98 made by umbro,I also bought the same from eBay,long sleeve but raised logo and not screen printed, obviously remakes but decent quality
Ellis could you please put as well sites that you can buy shirts from shops that sell the real football shirts?
I’ve bought from dh gate before no difference in quality just as good other than any patches on jersey which need to be cleaned with water and detergent and hanged rather than using a machine
aidksport.com/discount/JH3B29PWYTJ8 This link offers ordering discounts. And, free shipping.
There will always be thrift stores and ebay to get real football kits
@@Light-RandomAnd there will always be companies from Thailand and China that will provide the exact same quality for a 10th of the price.
I get most of my jerseys from DHgate but I just like playing in them , and then I buy real ones to go out in
That Mbappe one is actually authentic though Ellis to be fair, just misprinted. Another good thing to note for anyone that sees the comment, asks sellers to see the inside tags of the shirt and then google the numbers on the tags, if they come up on google they will be real. If they’re not willing to show tags or the shirt doesn’t come up, AVOID‼️‼️🚩😁
You should do a review on the different between a fake and a real
I’d only by a football shirt from a well establish sports shops like JD sports or from the actual club shop of the club!
Ive gotten scammed by this website called jerseysfc I even reached out to them before buying a kit and they said it was authentic and all. When it came to my house i checked everything and it was clearly fake
DHGATE RETROS are top quality ! Don't buy anything new. The retros are top banana.
most fakes will have retros in all sizes.. another key indicator that it's fake.
Great advice ellis if i couldn't afford the wolves home or away kit id buy myself a training top from the official club shop
Replica can also mean “fan jersey” so basically something you wear at home/for watching football/soccer matches.
There is harm in the way they are manufactured I would argue. Made by slaves and trafficked humans.
The human rights and deaths for that already are insane but people will turn a blind eye to human rights and other such things when it suits
you know what need to be stopped, charging £60-90 on football shirts. Rather spend £10 on a fake top then a £60-90 shirt 🤝
well said, great video. Been scammed many times in the beginning. People taking advantage of others. Sad.
Don't mind fake retro shirts especially when they are done well... who wants to pay 200 quid for a stinking faded 30 35 year old shirt?...not me... I'd rather pay 30 40 quid for a outstanding fake retro...not interested in modern rip off one season wonder kits anyway
There’s no resale value on a fake. Bruh I’m just trying to buy my teams jersey with out losing chunk of my bank account
Thanks Ellis for the advice and advisory
Stopped collecting around 2010 when the fakes were getting indistinguishable from the real ones.
I actually dont care if im buying a replica i usually buy them from a page in IG for 20 euros i prefer giving that to someone selling réplicas than paying 80 euros to some corrupt club giving them some more money
Whats the name of the IG page?
This guy is just making up reasons for you to spend 500$ on a shirt😂
If you actually believe what he is rambling about 💀
Replica shirts save money I don't see a problem in it but I'd advice to physically go and buy it rather than buy it from dodgy online stores. There are few good online stores though which sell master copied jersey at reasonable prices. There's no problem in it really because real shirts are sometimes way out of budget
cheers for letting me know some banging sites to get football tops.
No, thank you very much i WILL buy a fake shirt for 20£ instead of some stupid real shirt which is 100£-150£
No. How can I get Flamengo shirts in Britain? Where do they sell them? Adidas doesn’t sell them on the UK site. I go to DH Gate for my stuff. I do realise that I’ve bought a fake as I can’t get the real stuff or the price is astronomical.
I only buy replicas from southend when they had Nike because they didn’t sell officials and I feel guilty for it
Don’t feel guilty. You’re not the problem!
AwayDays we have Hummel now so non replica kits and nice shirts
Loved the part where you listed them off 😂😂
Hahahah fr
Everytime you get a Shirt from the 90s and it’s tight as Fuck, that must be Fake because in the 90s the Shirts were baggy
I’m pretty sure replica shirts are legit but not the ones worn on the pitch.
Wise words on the terrible industry that is fast fashion, absolutely no winners from it.
Cheers mate!
Hey I was wondering if MineJerserys are fake or not ?
I've only been using dhgate to buy fake shirts I neary bought of soccerfairy phew.
You’re alive Ellis😂
And rangers are dead
@@SKITZO-17-f8d who beat the Catholics on Saturday 😂🤣😂🤣😂⚽🐻🇬🇧
Ebay getting really bad with fakes.
Wait wait wait wait... YOU’RE 22?!?!?
YES 😓
ALWAYS ask for the product code included next to the wash label. You can verify this via a quick Google search.
I live in Canada and many people here wont know. If it looks nice I can still rep my country and not have topay a shit ton of money, why not. Times are not easy dude
I guess I'll buy official shirts from the Choir Boys at Nike and Adidas, they definitely don't support slave labor...
I buy off dh gate all the time the shirts are ok tbh and your saving yourself a fortune just ordered Celtic and arsenal home away 2021
Same bro
It’s ok for posh boys like you that have lots of money to buy jerseys. I bought 2 Liverpool jerseys a few years ago from China and compared it to my sons real one bought in a shop and there was no difference whatsoever except one was made in Thailand and the other in Singapore.
Exactly, nothing wrong with buying fakes, no need to spend £100 for a shirt.
Thanks for the vid! But how do you know for sure that for example that Dortmund shirt isn’t a fake one? And how do you make the difference between a fake and a real shirt in the charity shops you visit? Is it based on quality? thanks! Trying to start my own collection so any tip is welcome 😃
Best tip is to google the numbers on the inside tags. If the shirt comes up it will be real!
Ryan Russell Thanks mate!
For 15 quid you don't have to worry about them some of my fakes lasted longer than the real ones 😊
The jerseys here are cheap and come with free shipping.
22 and living with girlfriend! Brave... hahaha nice videos mate!
Did you know JD and sports Direct sell replica shirts 🤷🏽♂️
replica is a official shirt made by adidas, puma or nike but not for the player but for the fans
Just wait for the end of the season clearances and you’ll get legit ones for hella cheap
