- Drone approaches the erupting crater and zooms into the boiling lava pot. Watch the boiling lava. Filmed during the 3rd trip to the eruption site at Litlihrutur Mt, Iceland. Fagradalsfjall Volcanic System, Reykjanes peninsula, Iceland. Some 50 km from the capital city of Reykjavik. Filmed by me in 4K resolution (at 30 frames per second) with DJI Air 2S. Flight 2 (of 3), part 1. 8th day of the eruption.

The Icelandic volcanoes are stunning enough but if the lava boiling out of this one is truly straight up from the mantle of our planet, as scientists appear to believe, the fact that you can get a really great drone perspective is just astounding.
