  • Glasgow before the neds junkies scum and arseholes started ruining this marvelous city. These pictures are from a time when Glaswegians still cared and were proud of their home town. People are too happy to run our city down. Don't shit in your own kettle never mind someone else's.

As an ‘exiled’ Glaswegian, I appreciated this video, but was also frustrated by the almost complete lack of captions to identify the locations, some of which were instantly recognisable, but others of which I could only make an ‘educated guess’ at! Please, if you post any more of these, put some captions on the photographs!

Thanks to bad city planning Glasgow has been left disjointed in places.
But the people are friendly, welcoming and sincere.

Great upload, thanks. Any idea what the building is at 2:49 minutes? Station, hotel...?

@@shugthehornyhaggis Aah yes, thanks for clarifying. I thought the canopy was quite small for the front of such a grand building. Looking at the video again, I hadn't even spotted the firefighters high up on the ladders on the first viewing, I was so focused on the building!

@@shugthehornyhaggis Not to worry. It would be very useful to have the captions but the challenge of trying to figure them out adds to the enjoyment of watching. 😉
