Happy to see someone else thrashing around on that Bolany fork! I love it so far and I installed a second one on my Hyper E Ride 29er.
@SimRig PC27b Did you have to make changes on the front axle when you changed the fork on the Hyper Explorer?
I picked up the hardtail version earlier this year. Thanks for the video and links! I went with the same fork and other parts. The bike handles the trails perfectly! Thanks for your help.
Cool video. I also own this exact bike but mine has so many mods OMG. Here's what I did to it.
I have the same Red Stem {WAKE}
780mm Handlebar from {WAKE}.
New Brake levers in Red and Black
Juin Tech GT-P 4 Piston Hydraulic Hybrid Brakes in {Red}
I changed the Rotors to 203mm front and back
Tires upgraded to MAXXIS DHF front and back
GOOD YEAR Tubes.
Dropper Post from Tranzx with external cable routing.
Wheel nuts and brake rotor bolts all change to the color red.
ROCK SHOX Recon Fork Front Suspension.
ROCK SHOX Monarch Rear Suspension.
Red & Black {MZYRH} Flat Pedals.
Red & Black bolt-on {SNYFU} grips.
ROCK Shox Mudguard over the front wheel.
Wow, that’s an upgrade! You spent a lot on it. Did you keep the original head set or go different?
@@bob-o9865 same.
Thanks for making the video! Just ordered one for my son. We are planning on putting an upgraded fork on as well. What size headset did you buy for the new fork? Thanks.
What fork and head set did you end up going with?
Well done... aggressive trail ride for sure !
I just got the 'Sister' bike, the Hyper Explorer Hardtail.
I plan to give it the first 'Trail Thrashing' tomorrow.
Initial 20 miles on a Road / Gravel path went well - very solid ride - great value for $248 !
Q: This bikes stock fork is the best budget fork I've seen so far. How much better is the Bolany Upgrade you're using ?
PS Where are the Trails you're on ?
Thx - David in East Texas
I got the hardtail version as well. My stock fork locked up on me and never really worked great to begin with honestly. The bolany fork has been the most significant upgrade other than the bottom bracket. It’s made a world of difference.
thanks for this sweet video! Would love to see more. I was in between this one, it’s hard tail counterpart, and the Schwinn 2020 aluminum comp. Ultimately went with the Schwinn and saved the $50 since I live in South Florida and we’re pretty flat down here 😅 looking forward to new updates!
what size rear shock eye to eye? trying to find a fork also, but bolany doesnt have the straight tube in stock
@Jeffrey Guidry thanks for posting a review on this bike. When you changed out the fork did you have to make changes on the front axle? I want to change my fork, I’m not sure what else I’ll need to get besides the fork.
What length did you use on the rear shock
It's 165mm the shock is in the description.
How did the bike hold on the long time with the upgrades?
Two more good upgrades, ditch the mechanical disk and go Hydraulic. set I used are Tektro Gemini. And cranks with a narrow wide Race Face 32T.
Really solid Big Box bike!!! What size diameter seatpost?? I would like to upgrade and I'm not sure of the size.
What’s the size ? for the rear shock that you are using.
If anyone is looking for this frame its on aliexpress. The brand is 'kalosse'
Its already on the title its a walmart bike but great "Hyper Explorer"
Curious how this bikes doing? I ordered one and I also got legit all the same parts as you. I’m also getting a WTB wheel set for it.
I'm about to buy both shocks... Do you think it's worth it? Please give me your feedback... Thank you in advance!
I’m doing the Same to my hyper explorer would you mind to give me some advice on somethings
@@SenorBestiaOGjust to let you know that I bought both of the shocks and it was worth it. They work well!🚲🚵
@@cristobaladriantorres I’m just about to install my bolany fork I will soon order the rear shock
@@cristobaladriantorres what size rear shock?
Is it because it should of been a tapered or am I missing something
I’m trying to do the same thing to my bike and put the Bolany fork and I’m having trouble with the original brakes
Did you have to cut down the front fork?
Have you gone tubeless on the bike bro?
I ordered the forks you listed why do my forks move
is it possible to take off the rear forks and ut aluminum ones,,
What camera are you using?
The parts are in the description everyone.

What size is the seat post
I have a question what size is the head tube
Anyone plz advisee on how I can get the required complete nots bolts and springs for the installation of the front and back wheels. I missing some of the parts and can't get the wheell to align and stay in place properly.
what is the disk size of the bike?

Nice only i heard the framse is a size 17...
If you are 5'10" it may fit you. Any taller is really pushing it.
@@isisdaddy1 yah im 5'11 and usually a L...i just wanted to get 1 and make it a project bike lol
Mexico🇮🇹
How do those forks feel
They soak up the jumps and roots well but are not as supple as higher end forks. Feels like they have slightly more friction with small bumps but are much better than original
@@Guidry2727 nice. Ill probably get one for a Walmart bike build
Lead, pass, or get the hell out of the way!!!
What size rear shock did you buy
what size did you pick for the rear shock
