    Why do you have the short vowel ( on top ) and the long vowel aa. It is common in your videos. Please explain, Thanks a lot

    • @SaifiArabic
      @SaifiArabic  9 лет назад +2

      Arabic has three basic vowel sounds: "a" "e" and "o". Each has a short pronunciation (like "bet") and a long pronunciation (like "beet") version. Unlike English Arabic distinuguishes between them using diacritical marks for short pronunciation and letters for long pronunciation...
      We really need to make sore more videos about the alphabet, spelling and pronunciation :)

    Why do you write numbers when you write the pronunciation?

    • @daboychris
      @daboychris 9 лет назад +1

      some numbers can represent letters that we do not have in english. 3 for instance is Aayn.

    When do you use Fee Aman Allah

    • @SaifiArabic
      @SaifiArabic  9 лет назад +3

      William Wheeler Fee Amaan Allah is one of many many bidding farewell expressions, since they are a lot as you seem you heard this expression, we didn't want to focus on all of them rather than just focusing on the most common ones that you could stick to it. So in here i would highly advise you to stick to the expression you know and it is good. I would just change Fee to Be (be amaan Allah). Good question :)

    Couldn't help it notice this was way more speed than the other lessons I've watched (chronologically) so far. In comparison it came across as hasty and a bit sloppy to be honest.
