Unusual seeing he different companies build pools. We put in 20 by 40 Greco cannon pool in that same summer. They did not do polymer wall panels (which I regret due to salt system), but they do pour a concrete footer outside the panels. They also set up deck bracing, helps your concrete slightly. One thing both builds could have benefited from is back fill with gravel instead of dirt. Looks good, need to show finished product.
Not a man, it’s a company. Cannon pools of central New York. Think they knock out a hundred plus vinyl liner pools a summer, and If I am wrong it is twice that. They have two crews, and if I remember right it is 100 a crew.
Chris A. i was talking about you. You seem to be critiquing the companies work like Anton Ego in the movie Ratatouille. How he critiques food, you critique pools.
Kids have seen ratatouille, I didn’t have patience to sit through that one, and I do like some cartoons. I really wasn’t criticizing the pool build, I would much rather have had another pool company in herkimer county build ours as they use polymer walls, and also backfill with gravel, which you can compact as you add in layers and then won’t have issues with settling soil under concrete. Our pool company did not do those things, and could have saved me a lot of hassle. I waited till the latest point in fall to pour concrete deck so we could put a safety cover on pool and keep tons of leaves out. Next spring, wife and I were taking wheel barrels of stone dust and soil up to deck and trying to back fill under concrete where it settled some. If not for cannons supports off of the wall, the deck probably would already be cracking. I was not trying g to criticize anything in that build, just remarking the differences in pool builders. I (somewhat unfortunately) believe now that mine was installed by Walmart of local pool companies, they buy in volume, and can sell you what appears to be a nice pool package for a decent price, but comparing what we got to what is available, I would have liked to do a couple things differently and saved possible headaches down the road. We still love our pool, but I again say I would have chosen a different builder if I could not have gotten the options I missed out on. I did research, but it is kind of like injuring your back, everyone can tell you to lift with your legs, but you don’t understand the ramifications of why that is important until you blow a disc and have sciatica up and down your leg.
J I agree. Same happened to a house being built near my place. Couple got divorced mid build and it never got finished. Thing is still half built 5 years later.
I'm not seeing the cracked. Looks like they partially filled the deep end to test the drain and then pumped the water out when they were done with the test.
I wonder if there was a drought. The neighbor’s yard was getting yellow/brown around the time the owner started filling the pool with water...Just a thought...that would put the kibosh on a pool project.
Around 7.30 onwards, it looks like ground water leeching in, via a crack, down to the sump, and also a whopper crack from arch to opposite side opens up too. One guy goes to gob it up, around 7 54, and then they get the rubber over it pronto. Not sure what the cost was.... I'd not be paying!
No footings, or rebar? Wow. I build high end custom homes in San Diego, Ca. The pools require structural footings and rebar, with a lot of inspections.
It’s the peoples pool and all but I would have been furious if someone was in my half full pool. That is a good way of destroying the liner and then act like you didn’t do it when the install era find a problem
I feel like that seeping crack in the wall near the deep end is really going to cause problems for whatever family bought this house after these folks clearly ran out of money to finish the job and most likely moved. The only thing greater than the excitement of building a pool is the disappointment your children face when you walk them into an empty pool to let them play in the rain puddle that has formed where the deep end should be...
I thought I saw that too .. I know nothing about building pools but it did appear that there was a leak coming through the concrete on the far left side
Well I built pool and this is one of the best installments I've ever seen, the only thing wrong is the video didnt show the concrete sidewalk around it being poured the pool itself looked perfect so I dont know what everyone on here is whining about lol
Friend owns a place in the French Quarter in NOLA. Installed pool and found 7 graves in the courtyard plus one skull. Three had to be re-interned as the DNA could not be matched to European decent. One was of Congolese decent, 7' tall (yes 7), and his teeth had been filed down to points. All of this was below the pool. Made night swimming "different". Oh the skull was return next to the hottub. All of this was from a Yellow Fever outbreak burial site that predated the 1790 house
Aw I wanted to see it finished
Fascinating.. I was a bit mesmerised with the whole thing i felt like i was at a trance rave back in the 90s watch a pool being built lol..
LOL I was thinking the same thing! That Music, though... what was that? LOL :-)
Love that the family is using it while it's filling up. must have been to excited to wait. 😊
I know it was heart warming
Im loving the design of this pool it looks awsome 😊
props to the person running that excavator, thats some quality work
Great Timelapse!
That was disappointing
Finally a comment that makes sense. Lol
Idk about y’all but that dark spot in the bigger section of the pool drives me nuts! My OCD kicks in makes me wanna clean it off or something
It was on the camera lens, knucklehead, lol!
That’s the camera
No me

Chris A. you're mental if you think i'm reading all of that. k bye
Very interesting, never seen this particular system before, thanks for sharing.
For anyone wondering, the music is "Pick Up a Convict on Alcatraz"
Thanks, so amazing.
thanks!!!
Looks like they ran out of cash to finish the job.
True😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂
J I agree. Same happened to a house being built near my place. Couple got divorced mid build and it never got finished. Thing is still half built 5 years later.
Thanks Negative Nancy.... Please report back to CNN the Fake News Network...
J LOL
So, they built a pool that was cracked and leaking groundwater before it was finished. Good job.
did they ever fix the huge crack in the cement on the far side of the pool?
that is common in concrete bottoms , always patch before liner goes in
Yo all of that and then they just put a tarp down over the pool? Didn’t like lay tile or something?
Where is the sequel? What else did you do? How does he look today?
wow, a very good operator makes everyones job easier..well done
This is what happens between cut scenes for the dudes making pools in the Amazon with their bare hands
One word recession. Nothin better than relaxin in an unfineshed puddle so close yet so far
Does it ever turn night , not once did I see darkness on the camera 🎥
Middle of the night. Can’t sleep. Find a video from my town. Oh cool!!
Wheres the finish product ? No wrap around deck ?
Why stop before finished? What, no floor drainage?
Does it ever get finished?! 😳😳🤔
Would love to see the finished product.
Beautifully shaped and sized pool, well done install.
well done install?
What's the blue layer? What was it applyed with?
Задумка просто великолепная! Видео супер!
Cool Shape... too bad you didn't finish it! I would have liked to see the finished product! Apparently everyone wants to!
Is the pool company named "The Shirtless Wet Bandits"?
I'm not seeing the cracked. Looks like they partially filled the deep end to test the drain and then pumped the water out when they were done with the test.
No rebar?
I wonder if there was a drought. The neighbor’s yard was getting yellow/brown around the time the owner started filling the pool with water...Just a thought...that would put the kibosh on a pool project.
Awesome work! And i want this pool for my house with 100,00 price building!
Why no REBAR in Harsh winters in New York that floor wont crack ? Wow
Good thing Illinois is a Canabis State! sound track n my Canabis WOW! i was grabbing birds!
What's the big brown spot in the pool?
All that and no finish? Ughh.
no rebar and it has flexible pipe lol have fun paying for a new pool in 10 years
ALl that pool and WHITE plastic steps and bench!! It's like a big white pimple.
Excuse me dude, what *type of camera* do you use to *take pictures* every 60 seconds *automatically* ? 🤔🙏
usually any dslr camera is able to take pictures in intervals. hell, you can get any smart phone app that can do that
dude
lol did they make a boating pond
Around 7.30 onwards, it looks like ground water leeching in, via a crack, down to the sump, and also a whopper crack from arch to opposite side opens up too. One guy goes to gob it up, around 7 54, and then they get the rubber over it pronto. Not sure what the cost was.... I'd not be paying!

San Diego has earthquake. New York don't. Different state different building codes and regulations ... Js
The end?
It’s the peoples pool and all but I would have been furious if someone was in my half full pool. That is a good way of destroying the liner and then act like you didn’t do it when the install era find a problem
Mudah banget.... proses pembuatan nya.....
I feel like that seeping crack in the wall near the deep end is really going to cause problems for whatever family bought this house after these folks clearly ran out of money to finish the job and most likely moved. Nice. What size pool is this? Can we see what it looks now?
28 x 44 i would have to see if i have anything otherwise it would need to wait till all the snow is gone ;)
Michael Marlin the snows gone now... can we see it now 😐?
Wow .. Great job amazing time lapse!! how many photos an hour and for how long was needed for this? Whats the frame rate of this even?
Great video.
Cool music...
Excellent 😄😄😄👍😄
That was pretty cool !
2018?
where can i buy that poolkit? ( germany )
Is it just me or does this seem incomplete?🤔
Royals suck
All that work! Seems like gunnite would be easier and less expensive.
Good GOD this music is awful.
PillznarRy p is your dad
Lol I agree
Ears of the beholder, I think it's chaotically beautiful :)
that isn’t music
Blasphemian rhapsody ... Oh , yeah , another one digs a pool ...
I miss doing that job
nice music during the video, I almost committed suicide: D
What the hell is that floating around at the end?
Bruno Xisto pool cleaner not a very good one either it was cleaning the same place for 24hours
A Baby Ruth....
@Mr Sunshines LMAO. 😂
A UFO (unknown floating object) 🤓
My God, how deep is the top soil there? I didn't see a single rock or clay on that dig. You would have needed dynamite to dig that in Missouri
Did the duck die?
They left a huge crack on it, lol.
I thought I saw that too .. I know nothing about building pools but it did appear that there was a leak coming through the concrete on the far left side
What a shame...a nice pool design & good size, so my question would be - why would you NOT put in a "in-floor cleaning system"?
Where was the finished pool?
Was that a dog swimming in it at the end?
With no re-bar there is no way that would be built in Australia
^ right? I thought rebar was mandatory!
6:24 this is a long time to be texting on your cell phone
One of the worst pool installments that ive ever seen.
Well I built pool and this is one of the best installments I've ever seen, the only thing wrong is the video didnt show the concrete sidewalk around it being poured the pool itself looked perfect so I dont know what everyone on here is whining about lol
*build
How much?
how did i get here at 1:30 in the morning watching this pool fill............................
Where's part 2?? Its not finished.
Name of the constructor plis?
Beautiful
very good
Why spend the money on a pool and put a vinyl liner in it?
And the finished item ???????
What a horribly done video. Music was terrible so the volume was muted. All that and no finished product?
It looks very dangerous. Hopefully the company was able to finish the pool at some point because this definitely looks dangerous and incomplete.
music ?
At least its better than Gucci gang
in 15 years he'll be digging up those pipes because they are going to rot over time...seen it a 100 times
flexible pipes smh
Nice
No rebar?damn
No need for rebar.
Exzactly what i was thinking WHY NO REBAR.your telling me in New your state with our harsh winters it wont CRACK ?
osha violations start around 3:14 lol. taking the workers out with the bucket
Shirt is optional item.
It’s nice to listen to music while watching a video but this sounds like a million wind chimes falling to the ground at the same time
The music sounds like I'm at a Casino! ×_×
I like it bigger
I can’t stand seeing kids playing in the pool while it’s still under construction!
everything is cool, but the music could be different inserted.
Keep the darn kids in the house. Work site is not a play area.
Has 50k for a pool, but doesn’t have any taste in music. 🤷🏽♂️
Dopey Sims Looks like they had $50k for a $75k job.
Don't post incomplete videos.
that pool is bigger than my garden ....
Sometimes RUclips recommends exactly what I want to watch, and that just happened.
Finish????
Christ that music!
Imagine: They find a grave while digging. *LOL*
Friend owns a place in the French Quarter in NOLA. Installed pool and found 7 graves in the courtyard plus one skull. Three had to be re-interned as the DNA could not be matched to European decent. @@DFSixe Damn.. nvm that's terrible.. 🥺
