    Miss, good evening, let me tell you that I am very happy because yesterday and today I roasted peanuts with this method; yesterday, to test, I started with 2 kg. of peanuts/1kg of beach sand and today with 5kg of peanuts (2 pans/2.5 kg each/1.25kg of sand in each pan simultaneously) the result is a beautiful, golden, almost homogeneous color and a delicious flavor, I am very sure that All my clients will like that starting next Tuesday I will add to my sale; God bless you infinitely, your family and all who see your channel.

    Please what is the name of the sand, is it white sand like sharp sand , or is it clay like nzu . thanks

      It's not clay. It's just the regular sand dug up from where homes were being developed.

    Hello friend, good afternoon, these are minutes before roasting the peanuts with the sand, however, I have some questions: 1. I must disinfect the sand with something before using it or this sand will be disinfected with the same fire. How long should I heat the sand in the pan before adding the peanuts? How many minutes should I soak the peanut in water and salt and after straining it should I hang it out to dry it from the humidity? Please, friend, answer my questions, urgently!!!

      @usekwufoods  Год назад +1

      Disinfecting your sand might add chemicals to your peanuts, and you might not want that. The heat of the fire is more than enough to kill any germ. For soaking, 1 minute is enough to ensure that the peanuts turn crunchy after frying. You can drain them in a sieve. The heating of the sand depends on how high your heat is. The moment your sand starts disintegrating, then you can add your peanuts.

    Friend, good morning, I greet you from the Loreto Region, jungle of Peru; thanks for sharing the method of roasting the peanuts with the method of the indigenous peoples of America. I am interested in the subject because I sell roasted peanuts with salt on an outpatient basis ,candied peanuts, Nigerian coated peanuts that I learned a few days ago from youtube and banana chips. I am going to try roasting with the method that you published. I ask you: 1. Is it with hot or cold water that you soak the peanuts or what other ingredient do you add and for how many minutes do you soak? 2.Is roasting or frying the peanuts that you teach? 3. If it is roasting, how many minutes does the process take and how do you clean them from the sand at the end of the process? 4. What color of sand do you use, white or yellow? Thank you for your prompt response and may God bless you, greetings.

      I appreciate you for taking your time to ask those wise questions. For the soaking, you want to use warm water, not cold or hot. I should say, I did not soap it for more than 1 minute, else, it won't be crunchy.
      The only in gradient I added was salt and you add according to taste. I lightly salted mine. I roastee the peanuts, though I used frying and roasting interchangeably. You roast your peanut until the color changes and you're able to break it. I t takes there about 25 to 30 minutes, depending on the quantity. You can sift out the sand with a strainer and carefully pick out the peanuts, andgently rub out sand incase ofanysand stickingon the peanuts. Any color of sandworks. Muddysand shouldn' tbe used.

      @@usekwufoods Infinite thanks friend for your response to my concerns about this matter, because I roast peanuts without sand and some always burn, I hope that with this method they do not burn; I prepare my product on Saturdays and Sundays and one of those days I will toast that way. If you have any other news please share it with me, God bless you very much.

      And I forgot to mention this, you can reuse your sand as many times as you want. The dryer the sand the less it sticks to the peanuts.

      @@rolandotapullimaguerra8627 The sand prevents the peanuts from having direct contact with the pan. Direct contact with the pan is the reason for the burning. Again, sand is natural and helps to preserve the oil and other other nutrients in the peanuts.
