Thanks very much Mat. The instructions in how to zero a scope are much appreciated. And they were easy to understand. Keep the good, easy to understand videos coming.
Thanks for the kind words. We hope it'll prove to be useful to newcomers, and to some more experienced shots who may not be getting it quite right. All the best. Mat
Going to buy a Walther Century for my 60th birthday. Back in the day when I had an air rifle or 2 I would site up with a large sheet of card. Clamp the rifle into a work mate BENCH and shoot a pellet. I would then adjust the Tele sights to zero into the hole in the card. Had good results. Now tell me why I was so so wrong. Cheers. BSA Airsporter SE with walnut stock. Wonderful,I thought I was The Jackel. Lol
Hello, I started hunting way back in the early 80's, My first rifle was an ASI Sniper, bagged a few rabbits with it. Then onto a HW80, the rifle of the 80's...then onto pre charged BSA. No not much shooting now just have .25 BSA break barrel for the odd Rat and Squirrel in the Garden. Great videos.
Nice show Mat, I'd like to see more shows on the use and features of some of the newer springer rifles on the market. I do realise that the manufacturers like to show off their PCP's but being as 'pricey' as they are, some of us viewers don't have that kind of budget.
Another great show Mat. Looking forward to your next episode. I know you prefer the accuracy and consistency of PCP's, but will you ever do an episode on hunting with springers? I think that is something many would like to see. Maybe set up on a peanut feeder and bag some squirrels. ATB, Michael
Thanks Michael. We have done a hunting video with a spring gun but it was quite a while ago. Time for another - we'll try to get it lined up before too long. All the best. Mat
Hi Mat. As a newbie to airguns, having recently bought an R10, these videos have been my go-to source for help so thanks very much! Can I ask how often you clean your barrel? Read so much conflicting info online
Matt I can't believe you feed squirrels with peanuts🙈very expensive. I feed all wildlife from my feeders with mixed seeds n feed. Nuts, maize, fruits, and seeds,,, so all can benefit. Love the wild life 😁👍❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧
Fine show as usual Mr. Manning. You must have done too good of a job on the Rats last year, but I bet they will make a comeback in the future. William, in the U.S.A.
You got any videos ect on the gamo black fusion(2017,2.2 calibre) ? I've just bought one a few weeks ago want to know best scope and silicon gel ect and would love to hear your views on "dieseling". Tia.
honestly mate youre gonna need an all terrain type chair then you can get around and probably shoot in a lot of places...any competent bike mechanic can make you something faaar cheaper then the rudely over priced mobility offerings...i myself have worked as a professional mtb trials riders macanic and worked in a bike workshop over a decade an now am making recument trikes after seeing how dirt cheap they are to make.i worked on a guys trikes he didnt have use of his legs his trike had a hand crank set up..i would see him everywhere going like clappers in the buslane drafting them 😆
Me and my family eat a lot of the squirrels I shoot - I reckon the meat is better than rabbit - and some go to friends who keep ferrets. All the tails go to friends who use the fibres to tie fly-fishing hooks. Cameraman Nicky Brown ties his own flies, and is always grateful for one or two tails... All the best. Mat
awww its Edd Winchester i missed you.10:30 looks like a rifle smoke cloud i don't think you shot any of those squizzers. pristine equipment all the gear no idea.
Hi Mat great vid as always just a question about shooting up in to tree tops, do you aim at the zero of the rifle or do you need to hold over or under )if rifle is zeroed at 40yrds? or whatever the rifle is set at)
Hello Mat Manning, and other Airgun colleagues. Thanks for your video's, I live watching them all and I learn a lot from you. A question for you I have; I have bought the Russian Ataman hunting Rifle M2 cal. 30 muzzle velocity 300 m/s and 130 Joules = 96 fpe. I use 3.25 gram pellets, 52 grains. Can I use this rifle for deer and hog hunting in countries where this is legal? Many thanks in advance for your support. Kind regards Richard
I should think a pull-through or felt cleaning pellets should do the trick. Maybe worth contacting Gunpower just in case they have a preferred method. All the best. Mat
Hi Mat. Two questions I need to ask you. In February 2017 I bought my new Russian Ataman M2 Carbine PCP Cal. 30. The energy it deliveres is 130 Joules, muzzle velocity is 300 m/s. I live in The Netherlands where there is no legal limit to the power of airrifles. Mat, using JSB pellets Exact Heavy 7.62 mm 50.15 grain, or Predator Polymag 44.75 grain pellets, considering the countries where it is legal, what is the largest game one can hunt with this rifle? And what do you think of the Russian Ataman brand? (I believe it is really fantastic). Thanks a million in advance for your response. Good luck with your Airgun shows. I love your work. Greetings from The Netherlands, Richard Mulder
ive got a tuned .177 hw97k its got a lower shot spread then my friends hw100 .22 and i out shoot him at longer range +50m but hes got the old 1st gen its like 13yr old rifle..hes getting a new 100kt..am not looking forward to it 😆
Bit late but... Give Hull Cartridge Company a call 01482 342756 They are the UK Weihrauch distributor... Im sure they will be able to help or put you the way of a local dealer.
Im a field target shooter. My Daystate CRX was last zero'd 5 years ago when it came back from Daystate after servicing... Good kit doesnt move, cheap budget stuff does. sorry.
If you are exploring you shouldnt have a gun, do your exploring, ground clearing and observing without the gun.. then when you take the gun you can be stealthy and because of the pathways you cleared. No wonder the residents are on edge, you sound like an elephant crunching thru the undergrowth.. Also whats the point of masking up when you fidget around like your sat on an ant hill.
A big hello from across the pond, Mat. Excellent shooting and thanks for another great video. Can't wait to see the crack down on the crows.
Thanks very much Mat. The instructions in how to zero a scope are much appreciated. And they were easy to understand. Keep the good, easy to understand videos coming.
Brilliant 'how to' section. Easy to understand instructions that would have saved me hours when I first started shooting.
Thanks for the kind words. We hope it'll prove to be useful to newcomers, and to some more experienced shots who may not be getting it quite right.
All the best. Mat
Awesome stuff - I’ve been binge watching your shows today

Good point, Reg. We'll do our best to get some affordable springers lined up.

Me too, BeachGunner, I enjoy my 'springer' rifles too.
Thanks Michael.

Can you give a better description or even a link to the bean bag chair you are using?
Really helpful. Thank you 🙏
Hey Mat - I agree with BeachGunner - great vids & it'd be great to see you in action with a springer. I'm currently using a TX200 for my vids.
Yes - I'll try to get another spring gun episode filmed soon. The TX200 is a great gun.
All the best. Mat
Looking forward to it. For what it's worth I find the recoil on the TX200 sets quite a challenge for Scope Cam footage.
All the best

Great show!
Thanks very much, Greg.

Fine show as usual Mr. Manning. You must have done too good of a job on the Rats last year, but I bet they will make a comeback in the future. William, in the U.S.A.

hi Mat i have no legs and love shooting do you know any wheelchair friendly places to shoot keep up the good work!

Take a look to see if there are any field target clubs in your area... Most of those are reasonably chair friendly
Like that Daystate ,,yum yum
Just a quick question Mat, what do you do with your squirrels?

Hi Mat, I have a Gunpower .22 rifle, can you explain best way to clean thd barrel?
I should think a pull-through or felt cleaning pellets should do the trick. Maybe worth contacting Gunpower just in case they have a preferred method.
All the best. Mat
What pellets do you use?
What’s the best peanut feeder to get the squirrels and not have the birds get them all?
what should a person do to zero a scope on a break barrel air rile?
Hi, what make is the scope that's on the gun your doing the zero with?
Hi mat I’m new to lair rifles could you tell me what this hold over or under means please from Barry
Hi Mat, you've probably been asked this loads of times before but, what sort of pellet do you use/recommend for hunting use? Cheers, Rob.
Rob Steptoe always go for the diablo style mate. jsp exact, air arms diablo. you really cant beat them.

Why do you stick with the guy with the constipated voice for the airguns show commentary ??
