  • Now that we know how igneous rocks form, what are the types of igneous rocks? This depends on precisely where they form, and we can call them either intrusive or extrusive. These can also be called either plutonic or volcanic. What do these terms mean, and how do they relate to the composition of the rock? Let's find out!

Hey Dave, have you ever gotten any requests to do Devils Tower, WY? Seems to be a lot of speculation about it's origin. Everything from a laccolith to a full blown volcano and even some people(dummies) think it's a fossilized giant tree stump!

Unrelated to this particular video, but related to other videos:
Professor Dave, I think I know why you call yourself a professor even though you're not technically a professor. It's not because you want to appear smart or claim false authority, it's because you want to give those poor sods brave enough to try and debunk you a last meal, a last comfort of sorts before the drowning tirade of stupidity and debunks come in.
In every "debunk" made of Professor Dave's content made by pseudoscientists, they always refer to him as "Professor" Dave, or bring up the fact that he isn't a real professor in their arguments, and they have a reason for doing it. It's because calling Dave out on his supposed "fake professorship," is all that these enlightened human beings will ever get to actually discrediting Dave, and that's saying a lot. Were a professional scientist try to to debunk Dave, they would not need to resort to calling him out on this. They would say something along the lines of, "Dave Farina here is wrong, here is the evidence, this is why" They don't need to criticize Dave's choice of a title for his RUclips channel, because in theory their facts alone should be enough to disprove Dave, which is why every ID subscriber and other creationists frequently use this, because it's the only credibility they'll ever get. Dave is being merciful at letting these guys use this, because he knows that they are just nitpicking at every single hole they can find. It's the sweet swan song of these idiots before everything they say blows up in their face.

I called it that because I used to teach organic chemistry at a university and when I started the channel it was just my university organic chemistry lectures. That’s all.

Professor Dave Farina, i’ve seen this bot that made 21 replies to comments as of writing this. Could you crack down on these bots? They are the bots that have the same profile picture as you, but with numbers sometimes enclosed in circles in their names, and they spam.
