- In this vlog we follow the village pudding entrepreneur on how she makes brown pudding and sells it in the village in order to earn some money.
She is on semester break from University and this is one of the way she can make money in order to support her school for the next semester.
Brown pudding or Purini as they call it in Fiji is something Fijians make to have with tea. As the process of making the Purini was on going people came to place their orders as it is very popular in the village.

Loved this video. I have had this Purini when in Fiji its delicious very lengthy process though making it. I do think the young lady should charge a little more than $2 though. Village life is just great everyone helps each other, no one goes hungry, everyone is laughing and happy especially the kids. I miss the sounds of the children laughing village life can be hard but also its a very healthy lifestyle because everything is fresh nothing is processed. ❤

Your purini looks yummy Tupou. We all have diff recipes for purini. Mine also calls for 4 cups flour but just 1 cup of sugar. It still tastes sweet enough for me. I see that you add 4 sugars for 4 flour. I wish I can personally buy you a steamer because it will yield many purinis in one session with its multiple layers. I wish you all the best Tupou.
