    Thanks for this tutorial! I’ve been struggling to use the plates with a broader section-I always scrape paint out of the middle-now I know why!

    I have been searching for a tutorial on how to do ombre nails on a stamping plate. I've tried it in the past and it has never worked. But from your video I can definitely see where I went wrong and what I need to fix!! Your nails are always beautiful btw 😍😍

    Thanks for your video. I’m a newbie and this is a mellow look that I love! I notice that you role the stamper to pick it up. Often nothing transfers to my stamp. I am going to try this and see if I can find my groove. How much pressure do you use when you scrape? That is still a mystery to me. 💅🏿 💅🏿 😃

    The one you pick up at 3:05, how is that different, and is it better, than just a regular smoosh/stamper mani...?

    • @two.peas.and.polish
      @two.peas.and.polish  2 года назад

      Smoosh tends to be more blob, this is more of a marbled look. Doing it on the shape of the plate helps you know how much polish to use, especially for smaller nails, now you know it’s going to be long and wide enough and perhaps a little less messy on your natural nails. I think the same effect can be achieved with either method and it comes down to preference ☺️

    Why do you use the gummy stamper for the dots?

    Do you have to clean the plate between each swipe of polish?

    • @two.peas.and.polish
      @two.peas.and.polish  2 года назад

      If using the same image yes! You want the image to be clean for best results. Use 100% pure acetone to clean the plate. Additives will leave a residue and it won’t work as well. I use cotton rounds or lint free wipes to clean my plates. You can also use old t-shirts and paper towels.

    Hi does this only work with creme polishes?

    • @two.peas.and.polish
      @two.peas.and.polish  2 года назад

      You’re likely to have better results with stamping polish whether that’s a creme or metallic shouldn’t matter! Great question!

      @@two.peas.and.polish thank you! I'm terrible doing gradients with a sponge and after watching your video I think this plate would be perfect! The only cremes I own are Stamping polishes so I'll use those since you I'd have better results with those anyways

    Lol, I'm such an idiot...I was wondering what the blue on the nail was. I finally realized it must be blu-tac to hold the nail on the stand. 🤦‍♀️🫢🤣
