Omgosh, this is so Awesome!! Definitely gotta save up for this!! I think this is gonna be one of those "Must Have" Item for Crafters!!😉😊 WRMK ... You come up w/ such Amazing Items for Us. Thank You!!🤗😊
Looks like an interesting product! I understand that "webbing" is common with vacuum forming, as it shows in the demo. But how are you getting such a clean result with the cut version as shown at 3:14? The vacuumed version has "webs" running high up the sides, but the cut version has none. I know some shapes work better than others, but how are you getting such a clean result?
Patrick Ho hi! Good question. The best way to reduce webbing is to carefully time the softening of the plastic. Over heating the plastic is the number one cause of webbing.
@@WeR_Makershi I worked professionally with this material, it’s a factor of cold shock (warming the object helps avoid this) too much heat like you said, speed from melt to suction and lastly power of suction. With all these in balance it can change
I swear it's like WRMK are in my head and they know what I've been wanting all year so they go and create it and make it look super cute AND affordable! I'm sooo getting this when it becomes available!! 😍😍😍😍
I think it’s awesome! I could it for pastry chefs to make their own molds, polymer clay artists, even preschool teachers to make dough molds. Hi, nice to meet you :) I think its a great little product, not bought it yet but going too... molds are always handy to have, and I have a lot of ideas for them :) I was a bit concerned about wasting the sheets of plastic, but if more than one mold can be molded at a time that will be great :) Hoping that my vacuum cleaner will fit the attachment....can you use a dustbuster, (mini vac?) any vac as long as it has got suction?.... where would I buy the vac that goes with the mold press...I live in Australia :) looking forward to watching more videos on what can be made with this cute little mold press :) thank you for sharing this appreciate it :) have fun creating :) have a nice day, stay safe and well :) magz :)
Hi! You can mold multiple items at once, just be sure there’s about 1/2 inch space between them. The plastic sheets are recyclable (#7 plastic) and can be reused. We recommend using a vacuum that’s 5-10 amps and it needs to have a round hose attachment. You can purchase the Mold Press vacuum on our website here: www.wermemorykeepers.com/shop/holiday/gifting-tools/wet-dry-vacuum/
Hi! Thanks for your feedback. We’ll pass that on to our team. You can purchase more plastic sheets in bulk at Michaels, JoAnn, or online at HSN. Also, we recommend watching this free Mold Press virtual class full of helpful tips and tricks: ruclips.net/video/2pXEMx-DZQg/видео.html
The plastic sheets are 17.2 x 17.2 cm. You can order some from an online store in the UK here: craftelier.com/en-gb/laminas-de-plastico-para-mold-press-we-r-memory-keepers.html
I really wish they did a bigger size. I've been looking at the Formbox for Months which does 20cm (8 inch) Forming Bed but it's still a bit too small, I think this is 14cm which is just too small. I really need around 25cm (10 inch)
Thanks for your feedback. We always appreciate hearing from crafters. We recommend keeping an eye on our RUclips channel over the coming weeks as we share several videos with awesome project ideas.
Wandy's Sweets 💁🏾♀️ Yeah...looks like you’ll need to have a separate vaccum for this item which REALLY not impressive for me. I’m not goin’ to buy this one since you’ll need additional equipment. I’ve got vaccums to use with this but to also have a matching vaccum from WRMK is just another gimmick to me.
Honestly, how many people could justify the price (and I don't even know how much it will retail for) on this very large and bulky machine that only does one thing? How often would a person really use this? It is not something that I think is going to be your big seller this summer. Not impressed. I think WRMK needs to stick with smaller tools which people can afford and tools that can be used in more variety than this!
Oh I disagree, I just bought the button press and it is fabulous! With this mold maker, I can make my own molds for clay, soap, cement, resin and I amsure more. You can put multiple items on the one piece if plastic to reduce the price of molds! They have the adapter so you don't have to buy the vaccum, you can use any heat resistant gloves. I think for anyone with a craft side hustle this is gonna be a jem! I mean cutting machine for papercrafting are more. May have to save for a bit but worth it. And they already make every small crafting tool there us I think they are just giving people options that aren't out there.

Hi! Thanks for your feedback. We always appreciate hearing from crafters. We share the concern of many to protect our environment and cut down on plastics. This video shows just one of dozens of possible uses for the Mold Press. You can absolutely make molds with it to be used multiple times to cut down on the use of plastic. Please keep an eye on our RUclips channel for more videos in the coming weeks that show different ways to use the Mold Press. There are some great ways to repurpose items using this tool.
Thanks for the reply but there are fee other issues with this product: 1. Storage space needed for the item itself and for the additional hoover that is needed in order for the mould press to do it's job as my hoover for example (dyson cordless) won't take the attachment. 2. Storage space needed for the hoover shown as mine won't fit 3. All my customers are into zero waste as I make natural cosmetics so they won't buy something that comes wrapped in plastic.
