- Sky News host Peta Credlin says there are a few things “the lawyer in me finds fairly curious” about the “near decade old car-crash” involving Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews.
“Ryan Meuleman was 15 when he was critically injured after being hit by the Premier's taxpayer-funded car,” Ms Credlin said.
“Today, the Herald Sun reported it now has a copy of the full police report into the crash, investigation notes, these never-before-seen photographs and witness statements.
“Why wasn't the injured young cyclist Ryan ever formally interviewed by Victoria police?
“Why no statement from him? Why was the Premier never formally interviewed himself until the February - almost a month after the crash?”

I would love to hear an opinion from a lawyer. Driving away from an accident when a person is injured is a crime in Australia. Either the Premier’s wife drove the vehicle away in which case he is a witness to a crime and possibly directed the actions of a crime or he tampered with evidence involved in a crime. My question is can a person accused of a crime run for premier?

Pull the accident report and look at the date of the accident - date reported - who reported the accident. See when and where it was reported. Then ask Police why they did not investigate Andrews and his wife. And interview them. As well did he tell Police about the accident - on the day - or at a later date. Or did he simply lodge an insurance claim FIRST before reporting it to Police.
Or was it the case the victim reported the accident to Police - and they had to approach Andrews for his version of events.
The time frame of how - when - who reported this accident will give you the clues as to who did what.
It was a government car so I doubt the Fuhrer lodged an insurance claim!!

Years ago I was driving a 8 pallet tauntliner truck and was traveling down a major road when a lady stepped out of the van to load a disabled person in the back of the van.aftter closing back doors she walked down side of van to get into van.she did this on the rush and didn't look at traffic on road and stepped into oncoming traffic into lane next to van.i was traveling down the lane in my companies truck and hit her.the guy behind me saw it all and said she was like a pinball machine bouncing off truck and van. Busted legs and arms and internal stuff and she survived! Tryed to blame it on me for her dumb actions not looking! It really upset me .by the time i pulled over my truck their was already half dozen people around her with mobile phones ringing for assisting. Two Italian guys walking down footpath saw it all and helped me with emotional assistance and gave me a cigarette and assisted and helped me emotionally. Good work guys! Don't know who they are but cudos to them. Thankyou! I have no consious for her now as she tried to put blame on me to claim heaps of insurance money. Because it was her fault she would get less money! Tried to pin it on me. No way! I sent card to hospital to hope her recovery would be fine and send my condolence. Now stuff her bitch! She put me through this......... Because of her actions. No consious now! She can deal with it now. Cow!!
