Hi Stinger been using your 433 tactic with chelsea and absolutely loving it! Also your tips video on how to lower tempo and stuff to keep players more fresh is the best tips ever! This is my first time playing fm game so very helpful for me really enjoying! Thanks a lot dude. Will try this one too :)
Like you I don't like playing 4231 but if you have a strong team it's a very good attacking formation, dlp defend box 2 box and am attack is my favourite combo with a winger same side as the dlp. Great series to start fm22 bud 👍
You're quickly becoming my go to FM creater! These are great but I need some advice! I'm trying to re-create a Hansi Flick tactic, I've pretty much nailed it but struggling with the double pivot, Kimmich and Thaigo roles. I've tried both in the CM and DM position's, various roles for each, currently using both in the DM role, Kimmich as a DM support with ppms for direct passing, dribble less, and a RGA as the Thaigo role, again ppm for more direct passing (Team passing on slightly shorter). But I'm still not happy, I started with BBM and DLP defend, but wasn't happy with that either! It's also having an effect on the BPD left side (Next to the WB attack Davies role) to on defend, the Alaba role, got a ppm for dribble more on him. Any advise would be really appreciated! I know it's difficult when you don't have all the details so if you do decide to help let me know if you need anything else.
HI Stinger, new to this channel and I'm loving your content so far Is there any advice to a much more defensive 4231 shape? I know in older FMs gegenpress's the goat, however in FM23, a more fluid, counter attacking tactics have been slightly more powerful, after all, 4231 was created by Jose Mourinho and it was originally a defensive tactic Looking forward to your reply thanks
I have some doubts here.. When we have a wing back in attack, the centre medfielder on this side don't need to be the one that stay in position to cover the wing back? One thing that I do on my 4231 creation, what your opinion to give the wing back in attack to stay wider and the inside forward to stay narrow?
Do you have any vids on what formations/tactics playing away? Im Villa 4231 attacking wide/aggressive and destroy teams at home, unbeaten at home but i struggle away with some defeats/draws but not many away victories.
Something else I'd like to know, is that if I have tackle harder on all opposition players in the OI's, do I have to add the get stuck in team instruction or ask my players to tackle harder individually or will the OI's do that itself? Thanks in advance
This I cannot say for sure. I mean it makes no sense to say you could tackle harder + hard tackle PI + get stuck in and that would equal super aggressive tackling. I mean your team would end up in prison right
One last question, what alternatives would be used for the SS? I'd use an AP but Bruno Fernandes is more of an AM because of his high long shot rating so would an AM work or should I retrain him as an AP? Thanks in advance
Why the emphasis on changing from left to right? Why IF SU on one side and IF AT on the other. I've noticed that in these videos you've mentioned and done that often. Thanks. Great stuff.
I just so it for balance of the team mate. It's all player specific, for example if I had 2 pretty average full backs in terms of attacking ability I'd perhaps go both IF on attack. I avoid it where I can though, sometimes having 2 on attack on flanks gets them a little to far away from the midfield
Loving these videos, really helpful when starting out a new save. One thing I wanted to ask is when is it ever advisable to use the "No nonsense centre back" option? I don't think I've ever seen it selected.
After 10 wins in a row, I lost against Sporting Lisbon 3-0, watched this video, smashed Wolfsburg and Vizela in the next 2 games 5-0. Finally my Darwin Nuñez started to banging the net 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great video mate! Just one question, can we use DLP on support instead of defend? Because I've always liked using a DLP on support so I was wondering if changing the duty from defend to support would have any effect on the tactic
more expressive will allow the more defensive ones to be more expressive, as well. I wouldn't use that with such aggression in the team roles&duties overall
You can still use it. But if you're getting put under pressure you could switch the wingbacks to full backs the SS to AMC or IF to IW. See how it plays first though after you've built your tactic
Throwing out a cheeky suggestion for a 3-4-3 cruyff diamond and 4-4-2 diamond double header? Build both and compare them? Although totally understand if you want to stick to one formation per video
I should like the 4231 but I dont. As a tactic that is. You have a great version. I tend to go 4141 DM Wide instead. Sell of my AMCs. Maybe I should give this one a try? Bologna is the team.
The game has got too convoluted with too many roles and annoying little features IMO, like you can't allow your playmaker to shoot more often, ok so Phil Coutinho was never a playmaker at Liverpool was he? And what even is the difference between a wing back and an attacking full back in reality? Too many choices, and too many illogical things where for example a player is a natural as an attacking full back, a LM and a LW yet somehow is unconvincing or only competent at LWB? It feels like they just rush out a rehashed version every year just before the deadline with new features but plenty of bugs and inefficiencies. I'm really looking forward though to the next level games when we get VR and AR, imagine being manager in VR berating and AI version of Paul Pogba at half time lol

Love to hear this dude 👍
Great video mate! As standard some really good tactical advice and explanation as to why you deicide on player roles, great work mate!
Love your job, man, that's excellent content! Keep it up!
Much appreciated Marek!

That's a great combo too that mate
Keep these coming, really enjoying them, inspired me to create my own versions! Great work 👍
Thank you Rich. Really appreciate that. More on the way 👍

Superb videos! Keep going! So much information, love it.
Thank you so much man 👍

Awesome Stinger, thanks.
Great work! I like this series "How to create..."
Greetings from Germany 👍
Danke Amo 🤘
Thank you!!! You are the best!
Thank you Daniel
Can you try a 523/532 (ideally defensively solid/counter attacking-focused), always want to use it but can never seem to get it to work
On the list 👍
Your vids are great, keep up the good work and thanks
Thank you buddy
Thanks for that one Stinger, looks good. Not sure my Port Talbot Town side are quite ready for it yet though!
Haha maybe not just yet mate
Hey Stinger, this series is absolutly fantastic. Thank you!!!
Thank you for that Markus!
awesome

Working on one now buddy. Hopefully have one soon
532 would be lovely to see. Thanks
Another great video
Tomasz thank you so much!

Yeah that's a good combo
Great video, sir! What are some instructions I could use in a similar tactic to have a higher possession of the ball?
Lower the tempo, shorting the passing is a good place to start 👍 Add 'take fewer risks' to some players player instructions
Do you have any vids on what formations/tactics playing away? Im Villa 4231 attacking wide/aggressive and destroy teams at home, unbeaten at home but i struggle away with some defeats/draws but not many away victories.
I would simply just back off a little in terms of LOE and possibly def line
Something else I'd like to know, is that if I have tackle harder on all opposition players in the OI's, do I have to add the get stuck in team instruction or ask my players to tackle harder individually or will the OI's do that itself? Thanks in advance

@@StingerNeilD 😂 you got a point there. Thanks for the clarification
One last question, what alternatives would be used for the SS? I'd use an AP but Bruno Fernandes is more of an AM because of his high long shot rating so would an AM work or should I retrain him as an AP? Thanks in advance
Yeah, these roles aren't set in stone. Use what suits your players

Oh I use it quote often. Not just low down either, eg Ruben Dias I'd great at it. Really good for closing games out
@@StingerNeilD Ah OK cool, appreciate the reply and the knowledge!

Great news 👍
523 ( 3strikers) or 532 up next ?
Great video mate! Just one question, can we use DLP on support instead of defend? Because I've always liked using a DLP on support so I was wondering if changing the duty from defend to support would have any effect on the tactic
Use him however you like buddy
Tikikaka 433 what about this tactic? tested Sayed not bad to top club?!
more expressive will allow the more defensive ones to be more expressive, as well. I wouldn't use that with such aggression in the team roles&duties overall
Hallo my friend. What bout player instructions?
what should you change if you're not at home?
You can still use it. But if you're getting put under pressure you could switch the wingbacks to full backs the SS to AMC or IF to IW. See how it plays first though after you've built your tactic
Am I correct that you cannot take a beta save into the full release?
No I'm sure you can mate but I wouldn't recommend it as they'll update things
Can you do a 4222?
Throwing out a cheeky suggestion for a 3-4-3 cruyff diamond and 4-4-2 diamond double header? Build both and compare them? Although totally understand if you want to stick to one formation per video
Like it mate, these vids take a while to put together so might be a big ask
@@StingerNeilD totally understand. They've been quality though!

You have orsolini yes? He could work well in it. I've also retrained him as a shadow striker before and he was fantastic
@@StingerNeilD Great ! He has work to do!
