How To Perform The Frog Pump (GLUTE ACTIVATION)

    In today’s video, Danny covers how to do the frog pump exercise. Try this exercise out for priming your glutes before your workout or as part of your workout routine! Here are some key points from the video for you to refer back to:
    Setup 1:05
    - Lie flat on your back
    - Keep lower back flat on ground
    - Bend knees & keep feet together
    - Position feet comfortably close to your butt
    - Keep hands out by your side
    Exercise 2:35
    - Brace your core
    - Maintain lower back flat on the ground
    - Push hands into the ground
    - Squeeze glutes and drive hips up

    Nice... except for your neck. That's neck pain waiting to happen. Always keep your neck neutral! I always tell my clients to resist the temptation to watch yourself perform this type of exercise

    My groin area hurts so much when I do frog pumps even after doing dynamic stretches on them, any idea why?

    What do you think of elevated feet frog pump?any advantage over the floor variation?

      You could get more ROM, but its damn hard with the amount of pressure going through the ankle. I would suggest doing elevated traditional thrusts.

      Un Jamón Lector You can’t spot reduce fat. “Hip dips” are literally the bone structure of your hips.

      @@MarianaVert You can work your glute medius such as hip abduction variations like lying hip abductions, side lunges, banded side walks, and clams.

    Not really related to the video. I have a question. I’m a beginner so please go easy on me hahahah
    How many sets should I be doing with each exercise? Beginner, advanced, intermediate, etc.

      Probably just enough to fatigue but not hurt you.

    My ankle hurts when doing this because I had a severely sprained ankle in the past☹️

    This is cardio. No pump. Do reverse add band 8 inch cement block BAM!
