- It's a beautiful Sunday morning at home in Trinidad! Mom is cooking a yummy red bean pelau and it's just so heartwarming that I could be here in the kitchen with her. We spend most of our time video calling each other, so we cherish the time we get to spend together. After cooking, she gave daddy a haircut and then we had lunch and I made some oat bars for Kruz. The video actually ends with Gary aka DJ Blazer prepping some chicken to make pepper chicken but it would've made the video too long. I will upload part 2 after this video. Stay tuned for that!

It’s Trini in atlanta I’m so excited that you could spend the time with your mom because I imagine it’s very difficult living so far away from home, my daughter is my only child and she’s 35 years old and we have always lived not more than 30 minutes apart, I can’t imagine what I’ll do if it wasn’t so. Always walking around and playing, yes when I was growing up in Trinidad, we used to say brown rice, but after years of living in the US , that’s parboiled rice and then there’s brown rice lol

I like to leave on head & shell,not split the back ( the vein is taken out) to shrimp cooked in sauce, more flavorful 😊
