Metal Raiders ist one of the most nostalgic packs for me ...I remember always seeing fake ones in my childhood and with time I finally bought some original packs and I was just sooo happy ...haha good memories

This brings back so many memories... first pack I ever opened was metal raiders where I got a gate guardian.. sold it to my local card shop for 10 bucks when I was a kid 🤦♂️

Pretty tough to make back your money now that this box is so expensive (although you may come pretty close with what you pulled if you get a lot of 10’s), so I really appreciate you taking the risk to open it. This is my favourite set of all time, and you could be the last person to open a 1st Ed box on camera for a very long time. Cheers bro, and good luck with your grades!

Amazing set, only one of the classics that I've never pulled a secret rare from though unfortunately. Still have my gate guardian I traded my SDK blue eyes for as a kid though, heavy play but it holds lots of sentimental value which surely is the most important thing.
Metal Raiders is probably one of my all time favorite sets, so many epic cards from Gate Guardian, Time Wizard, One of my faves B Skull Dragon and Summon Skulls.

I remember pulling gate guardian as a kid at my friends house and we just went ballistic. Such great memories.

I don't remember what kind of cards that I pulled a lot when I was a kid but I am pretty sure that I don't get any good cards by that time.
I still remember me and a buddy of mine going to pick up one pack each of these at the card shop back in the old days. He took the pack on the right of the box, and I took the one on the left. I pulled a Magic Jammer, but he pulled the Gate Guardian. I still remember being so salty inside. Great memories :)

This was the only set I ever pulled the cover monster in. I still have my Black Skull Dragon from this set. Unfortunately it's condition isn't pristine anymore since I used him a lot back then. Still one of my all time favorite cards though.
I've always enjoyed the art of B. Skull Dragon, very bizarre and unique for a dragon monster.
When I was younger, back in 2002, I had a friend that bought his first two packs of metal raiders.
They must have come from different boxes because he got a gate guardian in both of them and subsequently thought they were common.
He was very lucky.
Black Skull Dragon has such an epic foil artwork! Thank you for the nostalgia!

you got a playset of 1st edition petite moth, no one can beat you in a duel now. Pretty sure thats how that works. I really liked that B. Skull Dragon pull though, that was one of my favorite cards back in the day, I just love the artwork on that card.

to me, that is the most nostalgic set ever. back in the day i received a pile of fake (but very good quality) cards mostly from metal raiders and played them at the school for the longest time
Very nostalgic for MRD as I bought so much of it as a kid. I pulled Summoned Skull, Thousand Dragon, Sanga, Harpie Lady Sisters, and some others. Somehow managed to avoid the three crappy ultra rare trap cards!

Yeah, because of drama in opening i stoped watching most of yugioh youtubers, all that drama and they pull nothing, but some of them have pretty crazy luck.
Subs-train is going pretty fast!!! I don't think I've opened a single pack of Metal Raiders when I was a kid, I may be wrong so I have to check my old collection. Still, seeing you open this product is as good as if I were the one doing it. Penguin's happy about you, cheers for 35k subs.

Id heard your name a few times watching rhymes videos so figured id check you out and subscribe, i remember when this set came out, i was at a friends house and he pulled a gate guardian which was unreal, i remember riding my bike to the shop he got the packs from in the vein hope of getting one myself (not knowing about rates etc as i was 11) didnt quite work out for me but loved the set.
Last MRD box i opened was before archfiend was tagged on black skull dragon and i pulled 2 and sleeved them immediately, never did get summoned skull though :c
Classic print cards look so good, and you pulled both of the cards I wanted to see! Can't wait to see what the grades come back as on those foils and rares.

Heard you mention the metal raiders box having all holograms. I ran into one at a Meijers store in Saginaw MI with my boys. I think we bought them all because we kept going back. We have 2 unopened boxes in basement. Who knows.

I had Metal Raiders with Black Skull Dragon in it back in the day In the Philippines one pack cost P149.00 in pesos which was very expensive in 2003

This was the first set I ever got packs from. It's a set full of nostalgia. Of course, I had horrible, horrible luck with this set. Even with all the tins, I am not sure if I even got a legit super rare from a pull. I know I traded and bought for a few super rares over time and I got reprints of a lot of these from tins and starter decks. But I had legit HORRIBLE luck with this set. XD
