This explaination and series is multiple times better than paid courses at many learning platforms .... really appreciate and thankful for your efforts Abhishek V.
I am from non IT background. I have enrolled DevOps course from well known online ed tech company just 15 days before you offer a free DevOps Course ( Yes, I felt sad after seeing your notification about free DevOps). Even they haven't taught us with these many examples and real time scenarios. I have gone through some Udemy courses about VPC for better understanding, Still no use. But here I got cleared my doubts with your clear explanations. Even I proposed this channel to some of my friends to learn DevOps and AWS. As per my experience after paying more than 80K INR ( that too with no cost EMI option) for DevOps and Cloud course to some well known institute, It failed to reach the expectations of students to give their best. If I waited for 15 days before enrolling I would save 80K+rs. I would like to suggest people if you daily follow these classes and practice daily this is more than enough. Institutions wont go this much deep in concepts. Thank you very much anna for your selfless contribution to many people 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
can I pass AWS certified Devops Engineer certification exam with this course only? I am planning to give certification exam I would appreciate your guidance as I don't want to waste money by enrolling wrong course
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:05 📚 AWS VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) is a critical component that introduces the concept of a private cloud in the world of public cloud and enhances security. 02:48 🛡️ AWS Security Groups and Network ACLs (NaCL) are essential for adding security to your AWS environment, with Security Groups acting at the instance level and NaCL at the subnet level. 08:42 🤝 Security in AWS is a shared responsibility, with AWS providing security measures, but devops engineers and administrators need to contribute to ensure complete security. 16:09 🔒 Security Groups in AWS allow controlling inbound and outbound traffic at the instance level, with default rules blocking inbound traffic and allowing all outbound traffic except Port 25. 18:26 🚀 Network ACLs (NaCL) are applied at the subnet level and add an additional layer of security. They can be used to deny or allow specific types of traffic for all instances within a subnet. 21:17 🤖 NaCLs can automate and apply security rules to multiple instances within a subnet, making it a convenient choice for network security management in large-scale environments. 23:33 🛡️ Security Groups only allow rules for allowing traffic, not denying it. 24:29 AWS creates an Internet Gateway, Network ACL (NaCl), and a default route table when creating a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). 30:56 You can control inbound and outbound traffic to an EC2 instance using both Security Groups and Network ACLs. 36:01 Security Groups act as the second layer of defense, and Network ACLs are the first layer of defense in controlling network traffic. 47:20 Practicing the concepts of Security Groups and Network ACLs in AWS is crucial for a better understanding of AWS networking and security. He is awesome man. His intension is just to make the concept crystal clear and goes inside everyone's brain. Hats off to his dedication. In this part 5, first 7 min, he just repeats again the last part briefly so that everyone can link the new concepts with previous one. He is just too good man. It takes lots of effort and time to create such videos. He deserves a salute.
It's totally amazing...... The paid course does not teach with this level of dedication and clear concepts. Seriously, you are the best DevOps instructor in the world.
NACLs control traffic at the subnet level and are stateless. Security groups control traffic at the instance level and are stateful. Route tables control the path of traffic between subnets and beyond. Loved to play with the NACL traffic rules and Security Group traffic rules.
Wow this is awesome, From this video I was able to Apply all 5 concepts from fist 5 classes. 1. I used AWS cloudshell to connect to my Ec2 Instance 2. Logged into AWS console using IAM user account to create VPC's and EC2 instances 3. Change Policies for Users and User Groups using IAM from root account 4. NACL and security groups Through this process First Challenge I had was From AWS Cloud shell it couldnt connect to my host because i added Security, then went ahead and Allowed Traffic Inbound rules for my instance. I had another challenge as an IAM user I dint have permissions to change Inbound rules, so went to my root Account and Checked for the policy that allows the user to edit Inbound rules applied that, Then i was able to connect to my EC2 Instance ., then play around VPC NACL and Security groups rules Allow and Deny- traffic concepts This is the most real time practice i had ever done ... Simple amazing
You're a GEM bro and standing ovation to your skills, the way you go from bird eye view to in depth teaching, first you explain components of any topic with real time analogy with high level and low level with diagram then moving forward to actual implementation🖖
So clean and you clear all aspects. Best part is you put image that is easy to understand this topic. I joined institute for DevOps course and they taught this topic in just 10 min. And even i did not understand well.
Excellent ABhishek you are explaining so clearly even if your providing it for free nothing less than the paid resources but edureka provides extensive content
Excellent stuff. Very clear and nice explanation. Have gone through so many other videos but couldn't understand completely but your videos are crystal clear and made me understand the concepts very well. Thanks a lot for making these videos brother !!
I have practiced this class parallelly ......i got an idea how the VPC managing the application according to the traffic rules .....NACL is for subnet level and security groups is for instance level. Thanks to ABHISHEK VEERAMALLA, you are providing the best knowledge by your videos. you always have our support brother👍👍👍
Thank you for sharing such an informative video on AWS security groups and NACLs! Your explanation was clear and really helped me grasp the importance of configuring these for network security within AWS. Looking forward to more content like this!
On point theory and lab explaination. I have never understood VPC clearly and i used to run away from this topic but the way you explained all the concepts seem so smooth and easy.
Just found this channel and trough comments i see alot of people saying how helpful these courses have been to them. I am new to IT without IT background I hope this course will help me achieve my dream of becoming Devop engineer. Watching from Texas 🇺🇸
Hands Down Best Video till date about VPC. I understood everything, i felt interest in Cloud. I want to become DevOps Engineer by May. Glad i found your channel.
Hi Abhishek, I found it so hard to go through many udemy courses to understand AWS concepts. None made it so simple to understand. In 2 days am already in Day-5 AWS security groups and NACL. Believe me, this explanation and series is many times better than paid course. You are making positive influence to the world.
BTech CSE 2020 passed out, MBA 2022 passed out and still struggling with normal non IT jobs with less package. Its from the scratch again Iam building.
Very very informative video. Clear all doubts. completed with hands on..... looking forward more hands on real time assignment. Make video on VPN, Transit gateway, Bastion host, VPC Direct connect, VPC Peering.

Great explanation. But one suggestion, while creating new VPC if you selected 'VPC only' instead of 'VPC and More', then there is much scope of explaining creating Subnets/IGW/RouteTable manually, attaching IGW to VPC, allocating IPs to subnets, etc.
Very helpful lectures bro thank you. One request if you are reading this comment. Please use a bigger or different color cursor so that we can follow it. Thank you.
