I remember how happy game show fans were in 2000 when GSN ran the Emcee Tournament.

It's funny seeing Alex Trebek in the same studio that he hosted "Double Dare" in over 3 years earlier. And complete with the theme, which was recycled for "Card Sharks", with the two parts reversed. T.I.P. ( Travel In Peace), Jim.

I stand corrected. "Card Sharks" was filmed at NBC Studios in Burbank, while "Double Dare" was filmed at CBS Television City in Hollywood. They still share the same theme, similar intro, similar - styled poem (at least in CS' earliest episodes) and Markie Post.

Actually, Double Dare was taped at Television City (in the same studio as TPIR), while Card Sharks was taped at the former NBC Studios in Burbank.

Wow! Alex looked so handsome in this video! Keep praying for the #JeopardyKing as he continues his valiant fight for victory against pancreatic cancer! If Alex were playing for charity today, he would more than likely play for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network....which is a charity created to bring knowledge and awareness of this uncommon illness....their website is www.pancan.org
