We would like to know how much you have in each bike . And what top speed on both bikes are you getting . And Wow what a deference the weight makes zero to 55 mph. Thanks to you and your Dad for all the great videos to inform us of your testing and results. Fantastic.
Appreciate it! Top speed flat ground gps tested Grom-65mph Xr150l-58mph I have roughly $1000 in performance mods on the Grom being 14tooth sprocket, intake, tune and exhaust but have another $500 in handlebars, tires, and bling. While the XR has all freebee performance mods except for a couple dollar jet for the carb and 16tooth sprocket. We also have roughly $350 in handlebars, skid plate and other accessories on the XR. Thanks for watching! 🤘🏼😎
I have a feeling $650 deference in a big bore kit and carb might run down that pesky Grom . I have as well a Navi and GL1800 and the XR150L I find the XR150L to be all around the best in Value , Comfort , Costs , Practical , Fun . It's a no brainer . Thanks again .
@@philipcloutier2553 When I first saw the videos of the XR I said I need to have one. Like everyone else I liked the white one but, the dealers near me had waiting lists for them and there was a black one already on the lot. I said to myself they will never be this cheap again and I'm not waiting 3 months. Sure enough the 2024 model is $3099. I can always buy a plastic kit to make it any color I want. I had no plans to finance it so I used my credit card and paid it off the 1st month. I then used the miles I earned to buy bags, bar risers, Pro-Taper bars, pegs, crash bar, mirrors etc. Oh, and also replaced that dinky horn with an electric air horn. Sound more like a car now when I need to use it. I installed these CREE LED ATV lights where the front reflectors are mounted and the reflectors actually fit directly into the side of the lights. After all the upgrades I love the black and red look.
Lol! I think Pops might wanna think about fine tuning his intake mixture little bit. Less fried chicken, more baked! Very interesting outcome never the less.
Weight is why I (the big guy) loose a lot of drag races. Been on a diet over the winter so maybe I can win against the XR80 next time. Planning on changing the gears also because loosing to a XR80 just hurts my feelings! 😂
Thank you for showing me new roads and letting me ride with you the day you filmed this.
Was a good time! Thanks for joining! 🤘🏼😎

100 pounds difference is a big deal on small displacement bikes definitely.
