What a schmick looking and sounding bike; Never ridden on Factory suspension but have spent a small fortune in the past setting up 'stock' equipment and I found having the suspension sitting higher in the stroke was a definite improvement; Soaked up the small jittery bumps much better than (stock) mid stroke and there was more progressive travel available for the bigger hits; Over-all, it just feels much smoother when on the gas; Sucked in slower sections because it felt 'stiff' but as you pointed out, the front wheel still went where you want it to go; Shout out to Technik Suspension here in Oz; He taught me much about dirt bike suspension set up.
T Dags is a local rider from my area. Been cheering him on for years. Great rider and always good for somewhere in the top 5. Should of put him on a 500.
Awesome bike, what a shame Honda switched to the case reed engine the following year. If honda stuck with old engine in the 02-07 chassis it would have been a ripper!

I see a cr250 and think man i wanna put that engine in a 3 wheeler. A bikes too safe. Just might put my 96 cr250 engine in my 82 atc250r. I love honda

@@davidhinton808 100%, it seemed when they improved one area they went backwards on another! The 1994 was a really good all rounder in my opinion
I think the biggest downfall with those 02-07 engines was changing to the electronic power valve.
I need it.
