Yes, the Banks Ram Air intake will accept the boot connection from our turbo horn for the LMM. If you were trying to put together that combination, look at our Stage 1 bundle (WCF100324), intake horn (WCF100412) and down pipe (WCF100703) as the best way to get the parts that you'll need for that installation. We do not offer the air box separately. The design updates to our intakes to incorporate the box extended to a complete redesign of the intake pipe assembly as well, the previous design is unfortunately not forward compatible with the air box.
This kit is designed to work with a completely stock ECM calibration and does not require custom tuning. Typically for a P0107 which is related to a low MAP sensor signal circuit, we'd suggest checking out the condition of / replacing the MAP sensor and inspecting / checking the wiring harness to it to make sure that the sensor is good and the wiring wasn't damaged or pinched during the installation of the new parts. While they are perfectly compatible with stock trucks, this kit really shines with (and is intended to help complement) other performance upgrades like bigger turbos and performance tuning. So, what you're going to get out of it is what you're willing to put into it. On a stock truck, pure bolt on HP gains are likely to be minimal. The benefits will come primarily in improvements to reliability, overall drivability, and efficiency mentioned in this video alongside things enthusiasts also tend to appreciate - like sounding and looking better than the stock parts. With these trucks getting older, your experience may vary, particularly if you're used to daily driving a truck with undiagnosed boost leaks. Addressing those can result in a much more noticeable performance difference before and after installation for what has slowly and less noticeably degraded over time. We haven't specifically run this kit in back to back dyno comparisons vs. stock because a low miles, showroom fresh version is now rarer than hen's teeth these days. Consider this however as a point of reference for how this kit will work alongside other performance upgrades for even greater gains: With a max effort performance tune and just an upgraded turbo inlet horn on a Duramax, it's fairly typical to see gains along the lines of an additional 10-25 HP vs. the stock part (depending on the gen of the engine in question). That same intake horn also provides the smallest measured air flow increase percentages of all the parts being upgraded in this kit.
