I love your calm voice and the way you explain everything so easily. I'm teaching myself to sew more "complicated" things. I think this will be a good one for me, since it has bigger pieces to work with (which is also great because the bigger pieces can really show off the fabric used). This one's definitely going into my favorites. :)
Love the fussy cutting of the pumpkins in the middle squares. Beautiful classic looking table topper❤️ Makes me wish I owned a large round beautiful wooden pedestal table. Gorgeous 😊❤️
Hi Lucy. I use table toppers on my very long rectangle table, and it looks great. Glad you liked the fall table topper tutorial. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
Hi Maggie. I release videos on every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Glad you liked the fall table topper tutorial. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
Hi Patricia. You can use any number of colors. Just make sure that the design shows up. Glad you liked the fall table topper tutorial. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
Thank you for this amazing tutorial. The one thing that I missed and I don't think you covered is how to handle to different degrees of angle with the binding. Would it be possible for you to do a tutorial video on how to bind the angles on a table runner? It would be greatly appreciated.
Sherrill. I wanted to make a smaller version of this table topper. I thought about creating an opening in the backing where I could turn the project inside out. I had read some place that this could be done but cannot find how to do it. The suggestion was to place a seam into the backing with turnover opening and then close the seam around completely. Could you please tell me how to do this? This would be easier for me when I made your scalloped and round table toppers since I have the hardest time with rounded curves, etc., after I have turned the project inside out. Thanks. Pat Berne
I think you could change up the fabric for use on any holiday. It looks beautiful on the table, but I think it would make a pretty bed topper too. You could have easy bed, holiday or seasonal decor. The possibilities are endless.
I love it!! Sharrill, do you have a tutorial on how to cut with rotary cutters without accidentally moving the ruler? I have put the dots on the backside, but sometimes I still move them. Maybe you’ve done one in the past and can refer me back. I struggle with it sometimes and you make it look effortless!! Thanks for all that you do!!❤
Hi Amy. Yes I do have a tutorial on using a rotary cutter. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/io6zm2Gw2oo/видео.html I am left handed and my right hand does not work due to a spinal cord injury. I can't keep my right hand flat against the top of the ruler. If you are right handed, keep your left hand flat on top of the ruler. I have used all the tools that are suppose to help keep the ruler from moving and they are all worthless. I hope the tutorial will help you. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
Hi Sherrill , I loved your table topper that you made. It's very pretty 😊./ I also want to know we're I can fine your tutorials on embroidery on the sewing machine I have a Brothers 5000BL sewing & embroidery machine and I want to start to embroidery on my machine.
How do you sew the side seams on the first strip? Is it sewn straight across? You didn’t explain and I had hard time seeing the seam of the first strip.
Hi Kara. At 09:49 in the video the second strip is placed on the next edge. The end of the second strip overlaps the end of the first strip. After stitching the second strip down you will notice the two ends are stitched together. Trim any excess fabric off at the ends, then continue sewing on the next strip. Hope this helps. Glad you liked the fall table topper tutorial. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
