I dont think you can really compare those two cartoons. Regular Show might be surreal like Ren and Stimpy but it's more grounded in its more normal characters and dialogue which is a contrast to the weird situations Mordecai and Rigby get themselves into.
I miss when Nickelodeon was like this. Even though I was born in 2008 in the Pearl of the Indian Ocean. I mean I did get access to the Nickelodeon feeds of my area but all they showed was Dora (which I hate now), SpongeBob, Motu Patlu, Shiva, and on the Southeast Asian feed The Loud House (which I personally also love but in my opinion is significantly inferior in quality to Ren and Stimpy). I'm sad that I missed the chances and/or didn't get to watch this and Tiny Toons and animaniacs on any TV channel as a kid. 😢 But I had lots of chances to watch the classic Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes and Woody Woodpecker shorts and yeah I did watch them, alhamdulillah! I hope that May Almighty Allah make Nickelodeon Southeast Asia revert back to the 1984 Nickelodeon logo and consequently bring back this show to its schedule so that I will be excited to watch it on TV and also most importantly, May Almighty Allah ease the sufferings of our brothers and sisters in Palestine! 🤲😥📺📼🤲😭🇵🇸 I wouldn't have known about this show, and Tiny Toons and animaniacs, if I didn't have the access to the internet as a 2010's kid. I don't like the show. But damn this is a good commercial for the nicktoon. Actually might have convinced me if I was alive back then. And when I was younger I actually liked this show. So I might have still actually liked it for a while.
