Just got this monitor and it seems to be a really good one. to features that I believe would be very easy to implement with an upgrade on software would be: to have Field check in any color + focus check. So maybe we can see B and w image and focus peaking in red, would be so helpful. Also would love to have in the ratio marker a 9x16 so when we shoot horizontally but we know it will en up being us a portion of the image in vertical frame (instagram, tiktok etc). Thanks
@@austintsai03 Haven´t had a chance tu fully check it, but I do use a thin 30,000 mAh usb c powerbank so battery is not an issue. Otherwise seems really nice. Just would be amazing to be able to see it B and w with focus peaking at the same time.
@@solarisjtean hello, I end up buying a new USB Flash Drive and formatted in FAT32 drop the luts and try it again. That works for me. The usb is a sandisk dual connection type C one side and type A in the other

It seem like my HDMI Output doesn't work? :(( Does anyone has the same problem? So Mini Hdmi (Canon R) to Hdmi input (F5 Pro), then Hdmi output (F5 Pro) to Hdmi input capture card. But nothing show up on my capture card, did I do something wrong?

The monitor will show the images, you can turn on the HDR switch in the monitor's menu settings, and then select the corresponding HLG1, HLG2, HLG3 type to display the Images you want to see.

Newbie operators... Do NOT use the monitor for powering your camera. It's already weird enough you have to have the freakin monitor on in order to close the loop to the camera. Just plain weird and yes even if there's power to the monitor, you have to have it fully on. Also if the monitor freaks out like mine does every so often AND when it shuts itself off for some unknown reason guess what... your camera is shut off and forbid you're recording. You corrupted the video... done and not paid! I have this and their 6" version... both do the same nonsense. Power lights off the PD port or another accessory source of the monitor not the camera. lastly DO NOT adjust your monitor holding the monitor, they are by no means not framed strong enough by any means you'll crack that screw portion right out and be dead in the water. Maybe find an aftermarket field monitor cage that fits

would love to have a frame guid for 9:16 as an overlay but the rest of the images will be shown with 80% saturation.
