Egyptian Director Marwan Hamed Speech At The 6th Edition of El Gouna Film Festival

Egyptian director Marwan Hamed has just been presented with a lifetime achivement award by iconic actress Youssra for his impactful contributions to the film industry. Over a span of 20 years, Hamed has deftly navigated the realms of filmmaking, showcasing his talent through his debut feature ‘The Yacoubian Building’ (2006) as well as a vast portfolio encompassing over 300 commercials, TV dramas, and music videos. This inaugural film, at the time the most expensive in Egyptian cinema history, was shown across film festivals worldwide, securing numerous awards and solidifying Hamed’s place among the industry’s most prominent figures.
