- Lovely mid-winter day here on day 115 of my video diary, titled 'A Year in the Life of a Miniaturist'. Sun out, not a cloud in the sky; very uplifting. On the miniature front, I have developed a concept for my Tudor room box. Sadly no room for that beautiful bed - but not all negative. I have other plans for that bed! So, I starting working on concepts and furniture for the box using other pieces I have. I also used transfer media to decorate the miniature ceiling beams going into the room box. I use transfer media a lot. A fantastic technique, and I plan to do a video tomorrow for anyone unfamiliar with it, on how to use the media. So, if that interests you, look out for the Day 116 video clip. For now, happy mini making folks!
A cheap plastic chess set- - a Tudor bed - underwear- lilacs for Dulcie - an empty room box - recycling minis- a river bank location - a developing story.

Hi Susan, just about to post an update on the room box :)
A new adventure! A new story! What you have so far is amazing. Can't wait to see how the transfers come out. Who might live in that room? Hmmm, someone very interesting. :)
Good question!!
You’ve encouraged e to spend more time in my studio…family is rather on the fence about this new turn of events 😊
They'll come around :)
The bed will be upstairs or next room I guess ,so great
Who knows. These items find their own homes eventually.
