You might not know that I was trained classically when I started to learn piano as a child, before I began to do covers and original songs! I think it can be quite hard to appreciate classical pieces (let alone to play them) but there are of course many fantastic classical songs out there, and this is one of them for sure! Should I do more classical songs? 🤔🎹
I managed to learn this within the last four weeks and play it from memory now! A bit slower, though. Sounds more romantic, when it is not rushed. When I learn a piece, I always look for repeating patterns first ‐ in the bass and the melody. It is easier to memorize then. I'm so happy, because this is my favourite piece from Chopin! ❤️
And then transpose it down a note if ur on an electric piano and then for the final chord be slow and roll it so instead of a chord it goes separately with the pedal down and add a G Bflat and Eflat and continue that G bflat and eflat till the end and continuing getting slower, sounds so nice
An absolute beginner to piano but I have to admit, I simply adore the Classical pieces, great pieces and yes very difficult to play for people like me but I still love playing along with my right hand to RUclips tutorials. Thank you for providing some.
I’m at 0:13 , I’ve just finished the first section and I took two hours for it, honestly it gave me a pretty bad headache but I’m still happy that I now get it right for those couple of seconds, definitely continuing the study of this piece soon

@@lorenzosavio7199I wouldn't recommended learning piece this at 4 months. Try learning something like River flows in you or the first 2 minutes of clair de lune. Then you can come back to this one. River flows in you may seem difficult at first but just practice tiny sections of it multiple times and eventually you'll get it. But its up to you. Learn whatever fits you best
Ouran High School Host Club has introduced me to this beautiful song and I enjoy it greatly. It sounds so sophisticated yet melancholic at the same time.
@@gradientblob1014they have a lot of songs if you pay the subscription, they have a “play” feature you can unlock once you get to a certain level, and there are plenty of songs there but a lot of them are just simplified versions
I’m at 14 seconds too It’s been two hours since I started learning it and I got an headache… while this song may seems soft and enjoyable to play when you start doing it gets somehow soo complicated especially after repeating the same notes over and over to get it right
Genuine question. In the second bar, why is the chord that follows the F - Db not played as Bb-Db-Eb? The sheet music shows the top note as E which I thought is flat, but in the animation its shown as Fb. Am I reading the music wrong?
It's because of the scale this song is written in, before u play sheer music, look before the bar u will see on the lines some flats, these flats continue all throughout the song unless a symbol is written to flatten it, so, the f at the top is a f flat or e, because as written on the side, all f's will be flat, unless said otherwise. Hope this helps!
Also Iv noticed that a symbol to normalize the e was put I'm at the start of the bar, I don't know if it means that it normalizes the e in the key signature (the notes shown at the side or scale) or just normalizes it when played previously as a sharp or flat which I do not see, so I believe this solves the issue?
There is an natural E in that part of the song so that Fb is correct but should be notated as E natural. Scoring software does not always ascribe the correct note name in the midi. Once, in a piece I arranged, I had F natural reading as E# which is technically correct but had to be corrected to F natural because my piece was in a flat scale had an Eb anyway.
