I've always wondered how they walked with the three legs but it seems the third leg is for a stationary position when in "siege mode" thx for the vid tho
yes they use two legs to walk and the third one to stabilize itself when shooting the main cannon, they have a lot of firepower, essentially the same as the larger six legged at te so two legs wouldn't give it enough support when shooting
Face it, the most we ever see of the AT-AP is either A. Lego figures. B. Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars and C. Star Wars: Empire At War: Forces of Corruption base game or its mods (Fall of the Republic, Republic at War & Clone Wars)
The fact that there are 3 or 4 Lego sets on this vehicle but only seen in 1 movie is beyond me. Such a shame they never even put it in 7 seasons of the clone wars!
Draa, Nemec and Fireball fought in the Battle Of Kashyyyk alongside Luminara Unduli, Yoda and Quinlan Vos In Tales of The Jedi, The Bad Batch all seasons 2-3
I still don't know why the designer put the third leg in front instead of behind, since it doesn't seem like it would help stabilitize it at all when firing
maybe the vehicle shifts its weight forwards while aiming. Only reason it would make sense i suppose. Its a shame there isnt much lore so we dont know much about it. A back leg would make it easier to balance while walking too since it can counteract the weight of forward facing mass driver
the hologram of the at ap has more screen time than the real one
sad
I like the AT-AP very much. Was disappointed it did not feature in the Clone Wars series or the Bad Batch at all.
same!
It was in the clone wars movie
@@sadfrog15 no it wasnt
@@lol-un6nl in the opening shot of the movie it's in the corner for about 3 seconds
@@sadfrog15 thats a destroyed at te
Wish the AT-AP had gotten more screen time. It's such a cool vehicle.
sure is!
AT-AP is my favorite ground vehicle in Star Wars and it gets 1 and a half minutes of screen time for the entire series 💀💀💀
At least it has a few Lego sets

I just came here to answer this exact question lol

At ap wasnt even in clone wars dumbarse
Yes, you're totally right
we should see more of it, i love the AP so much because of all the use it got in LSW3
@@Elavator66 I just love how it’s designed along with the A6 Jugg
cuts to indoors "Wait how are they supposed to show a 50ft tank in here- oh, holograms, of course!"

They made 2 lego set iterations of a walker that has less than a minute and a half of screen time lmao
They made 3 lego set iterations of Republic Fighter Tank that only appeared in some Star Wars videogames.
There is actually three lego set iterations:one in 2008,2014, and 2019 lmao
@@svartmetallyst7712 you can see it in ROTS when Obi-Wan is chasing Grievous
My favorite walker. I love how it shifts between walking bipedal machine and tripod artillery.

Anakin and obi wan: fighting
The AT-AP watching over the holo: 😳
The turbo tank ran over alot of wookies and clones in the kashyyyk part
Bro that hologram stole the show
Everyone is crying about the AT AP but no one talks about the ATOP or UTAP
