Yayyyy!! It’s almost like the twilight zone seeing our favorite Orlando vlogger make the trip to Cleveland to visit OUR home park!! Looks like you had an awesome time, hope our city was a great time!!
You stayed in Cleveland? Why not the points home of Sandusky? Would think you'd take advantage of the whole experience of their resort and water park as well. Just curious.
Glad you got to visit the 419!! Cedar Point is our home park. I was sad that you didn’t ride Blue Streak! It is a historic ride ! I hope you come back and get to experience the rest of the park someday.
I was coming on to comment the same thing. Not sure why he skipped Blue Streak, but it is one thing we never miss. It is so fun and makes us all laugh. My boys initially thought it looked like a kiddie coaster (since it looks so teeny next to all the new ones)...but they were pleasantly surprised to feel the thrills of a 60 yo gem.
I've been going to Cedar Point for over 40 years and that view of the coasters while driving on what used to be called the "Cedar Point Causeway" is everything! It still gets me all excited to this day when I visit the park. Thanks for capturing that and I'm so glad you finally made it to my favorite amusement park! 🎢❤️😊
I worked here in 2017. I was night audit for the hotel Breakers. The hotel you pointed to while you were in the sky ride. My shift started at 10pm and lasted until 8am. Before I'd clock in I would run to Top Thrill Dragster as everybody was leaving. I'd get on in a few minutes and then I ran to the hotel quickly changed into my uniform and clock in. Such an awesome way to start the work night. I'm sorry you couldn't ride it. It's a gem. Edit: I forgot to add. I'm going next! I'm very excited to go back!
As you learned, Cedar Point is a tough single day visit. So much to do and the park is huge. Definitely a 2-3 day visit allows you to enjoy the visit more leisurely. Fortunately I only live 1 1/2 hours away and have many times just purchased the season pass. Very spoiled in that regard. Glad you enjoyed it...it is a gem!!!
I'm in Apollo Beach, FL and you described the same experience I had at Cedar Point! Whomever thought of putting Gatekeeper at the front gate was genius... a great entrance visual. The view from Millennium is best I've ever seen! But Steel V is the greatest coaster there is. Get on Top Thrill when it's reopened if you can go back ... another Tremendous ride. I've been to 15 parks & Cedar Point is my favorite ... clean, friendly, Family, food, and best set of rides in a beautiful setting! Great Review 👍
I grew up going to Cedar Point. You HAVE to come back for Top Thrill Dragster! It is our favorite coaster there. So cool to see you in our hometown park! Glad you liked it.
Thank you for visiting my home theme park! It’s about 30 minutes from my house. Sorry for the bad weather at the beginning. I go there nearly every weekend, with my kiddo. The water park, and beach is also top notch. Can’t wait till you come back!
My family went last year for the first time. We loved it! Going back next year. Disney will always have my heart but CP is phenomenal. Can't wait for next season!
Back row night ride on Steel Vengeance makes you wonder where you are 😂😂 it's literally the most trippy thing ever, being thrown in all different directions in the dark. Love that ride so much.
You should have rode the blue streek. It is old and definitely a wooden rollercoaster but is so much fun. Lots of air time. Thank you for going. Been many years since I have been there. Crazy on all the changes.
So glad you got to visit Cedar Point! It's on my bucket list too. Those coasters looked so incredibly fun. Thanks for sharing your great day with us Dev!🤗
I found your channel because I'm planning my family's first visit to Disney/Universal, but Cedar Point is my home park (half an hour away), so this was awesome to watch! Glad you had a good time!
Yay!! So glad to see you in our home park. We are season passholders for cedar point. I've been going here for 40 years, have so many good memories at cedar point.
Hi Dev! I love all your videos and have been following you for years. It’s great see videos of you visiting other parks outside of FL! Cedar Point is definately on my list to visit. I live in Virginia 30 minutes away from Cedar Point’s sister park Kings Dominion and I just took a trip to Carowinds another sister park. If you are visiting parks in other states those are 2 to add to your list. Carowinds is unique since it is located both in North and South Carolina.
Man another great video!!! I definitely need to make it there!!! I think they done a really good job with the park I'm really impressed!!! 23000 steps whoaaa!!!!
Cedar Point is definitely a roller coaster lovers dream! Unfortunately I think staffing issues have caused some problems with things being closed. We went last week and rain was in the forecast all day but no lines! A great day really 😆 thanks for a great vlog from Ohio again!
We haven't been to Cedar Point in about 12 years. Looks like some new coasters we need to try. We're planning to go in the next year or two. Can't wait! Thanks for sharing your experience.
I hope you get a chance to revisit Cedar Point for Halloweekends. My wife and I love Cedar Point! We have been visitors to the park for years. We were so excited to see a Florida park vlogger some love to our home park. Steel Vengeance is by far my favorite coaster. And I totally agree, I’d rather go to a park during the evening, especially in the summer, where the blazing sun is not zapping your energy.
I live in NY and have been a season pass holder at Cedar Point for years! And will keep going until my heart can't take it anymore🤣 Hope your experience will want you to revisit with your family & friends
This trip is a dream trip for me!!! I really would love to do a roller coaster road trip - True bucket list. Thank you so much for sharing. This is so much fun!
So excited you got to visit Cedar Point! We were stationed near Sandusky for three years and we fell in love with that theme park. So many great coasters. We miss it! Thanks for featuring it!💜
I live in Michigan and grew up going to cedar point every summer and there is something beautiful and special about that park I am so glad you enjoyed yourself you and Bianca will definitely have to come back
My mom worked here during her freshman year of college! I went for the first time in 2016 and I'm going back in September...thank you for doing this video!
Amazing! Thank you for visiting our beautiful Cedar Point and giving our state some love, we welcome you back any time. Especially since I did not get to meet you! I am so bummed! The next time you visit can I recommend staying at Hotel Breakers, just steps away from the park and right on the beautiful beach...you and your family would love it. A great time to stay here is when they have the beach glow nights in August, super fun. Love to you and Bianca!
The roller-coasters seam intimidating here even watching your video as I was a little nugget between the ages of 4-5 I was here in the 80's and even back then the roller-coasters and rides seamed intimidating the rides here seam bigger and everything compared to Kings Island
Great video. I was out there for three days for Coaster Con 44 put on by the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE). If you like coasters ACE is a great club to join. I have over 700 coaster credits so far. Most enthusiasts try to rack up as many credits as possible, that's why you will sometimes see a lot of enthusiasts ride kiddie coasters to up their counts.
You made it. Awesome. I live about an hour away. Maverick and Millennium are my favorite. Also try backbeatcue next time, that Is one of my favorite restaurants.
Very cool. Looking forward to what's next. Love your Universal videos the most and also the walk and talk where you talked about moving and rent was also very interesting to me.
Dev, thank you so much for this most recent series of vlogs from the Ohio theme parks. My Father's side is from Ohio and grew up loving these parks. But being born and raised in Southern California, clearly Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood and Knotts Berry Farm have always been my beanch mark. As a result I've always been fascinated with everything theme park related. Fantastic job brother, keep up the great work and great content 👏
Next time pull the handle on that outhouse, There’s a surprise. You didn’t ride Gemini or Skyhawk? The Cedar Downs horse ride is great too. It’s 101 years old, and still very fun.
Great vlog. In a recent post I suggested you visit this park. I'm so happy it was on your itinerary. In my opinion it is among the best parks in the country. Thank you.
One of the best parks ever, but I dont recommend a Saturday for a first visit. The Breakers Hotel right outside the park on Lake Erie is another must see. But thanks for the visit, loved seeing the park thru your eyes. I have been going to CP sense 1975, it is a true gem.
This is my bucket list Rollercoaster park. Thank you for showing this experience. I've been to Magic Mountain but Cedar point has always been my dream park. The X2 ride in magic mountain is the scariest ride I've ever riding by far including Velosercoaster
I am so happy you made it to another bucket list theme park. I'm also happy you got to ride everything. I have great memories of that park. Keep up the great work!!
Awesome seeing you at my home park, I'm a Cedar point season pass holder. I love Universal and Disney parks but Cedar point is still the best in the world imo 👍
So glad you finally got to make it "up north", lol. Cedar Point is THE park for coasters hands down! I am from Grand Rapids, MI, which is a 4 hour drive and LOTS of people here go to Cedar Point! I love to "work" my way up to the big rides by starting with the small ones. Corkscrew starts things usually and it builds from there. I do love Iron Dragon, smaller but steals my heart by the small thrills like the tress and pillars. You missed nothing by not doing the Mine Ride, bumpy and hurts my back. Anyway, so glad you got to experience this amazing park! I will check out your King's Island video because it has always been over shadowed by Cedar Point so we've never gone. Now that you have come that far north, I highly recommend you bring Bianca and her daughter for a family vacation to our beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline! We have a Cedar Point owned park named Michigan's Adventures that has some good rides, has a water park, and is smaller so doable in 1 day. Also, the Lake Michigan beach is white sand, gorgeous sunsets, no salt water, and no sharks! Lol! Places to see, Grand Haven, Holland, Saugatuck, even farther north to Traverse City is amazing!
Dev the Rollercoaster's were INCREDIBLE!! UNBELIEVABLE! Thank you for sharing this video! It's really great to see the different parks how they operate and what AMAZING rides they offer to guests! Nice work and FABULOUS Ohio trip!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏👏👍😊🎢🎢🎢🎢
I’m at Disney and went to the art of shaving mentioned you and everyone knew you there even some guy shopping inside knew about your channel. I have a Genie plus story . So I pay $15 genie plus but three of the attractions that I had scheduled two were down so there goes $15 there should be some kind of pro rate or carry over for next visit say you have a 3 day pass well then carry it over to my next day because I didn’t use it . Anyway using your video tips fries were good and wings were to at Epcot 👍 Watched this video in the room b4 bed
fun fact about cedar point. back in the 70's the turkeys would roam freely in the back of the park...and pretty much terrorize you if you got near them. my parents took us every year up until our 20's. i was my dad's ride or die buddy, as my mom hated rollercoasters and my brother (in the 70's) was too young. i'm glad you enjoyed your stay at cedar point and in ohio. next time in cincy visit a place called jungle jim's (its an unusual grocery store).
I worked there in 1978. My parents had a boat at the marina and I lived on it all summer. It was a great place to work. They treated their employees great back then. Heading there next week to ride Steel Vengeance!!! Woo Hoo. Great video. Thanks so much. 😀
Can’t tell you how jealous I am. Graduated from high school in 1978 and one of my biggest life regrets is I never got to spend a summer working at Cedar Point. There would have not living on a boat at the marina for me, would have been in the dorms for sure LOL.
@@lexifan23 It was so much fun. I made tons of friends from all over. I had a dorm room as well, but was I rarely there. Cedar Point had employee movie night in the ballroom every Sunday night, an employee bar for over 18. You could run around all night if you wanted. You could hear the lions roar every night at Jungle Larry's African Safari, after the park closed. It was definitely the amazement park. Sorry you didn't work there. You definitely missed out.
Wondering what your job was, brought up a memory of a group of my friends and I going to Cedar Point early in the season in ‘78 not too long after graduation and taking the paddle boat cruise. The “captain” was young and was 1st week if not 1st day on his own and crashed into a tree. Put some real excitement into what was normally a very tame ride. There was a minute or two we weren’t sure if we were going to end up in the water or not. One thing for Ohio, you don’t have to look out for gators. As far as missing out, I am sure I did. One of my daughters (as a joke) sent me a link last summer with job applications for Cedar Point. Told her the moment has passed.
@@lexifan23 I was 17 so I couldn't be a ride operator, so I chose sweeperette. I walked around with a broom and a bucket. It was fun too. Found money and talked to people. I loved it. Oh yes... Last year they were paying 20 bucks an hour. Tempting, but anyone over 36 yo can't live in a dorm, understandable. I wouldn't mind being a ticket taker by the beach and hotel now since we're older. Most of us were kids right out of high school or 1 year of college. Best summer ever. Thanks for the conversation. I enjoy reliving it and yes... No alligators for sure. 😀
Yayyyy!! It’s almost like the twilight zone seeing our favorite Orlando vlogger make the trip to Cleveland to visit OUR home park!! Looks like you had an awesome time, hope our city was a great time!!

for sure love it
I'm pretty Local. I've been going at least once a year for over thirty years. I've not heard or read that it's no longer called the causeway?
I worked here in 2017. I was night audit for the hotel Breakers. The hotel you pointed to while you were in the sky ride. My shift started at 10pm and lasted until 8am. Cedar point looks so dope for the roller coasters 🎢

Excellent Millennium Force drop footage! My favorite Intamin Giga coaster. Night ride is elite!
It's nice to see you branching out beyond Florida parks. Hopefully you can go to other theme parks throughout the US and especially the world.
Welcome to America’s Roller Coast! Glad you finally made it to Ohio Dev! Cedar Point will not disappoint ❤️
Cedar point is a huge park. I do love that place happy you finally made it.
Back row night ride on Steel Vengeance makes you wonder where you are 😂😂 it's literally the most trippy thing ever, being thrown in all different directions in the dark. Love that ride so much.
Cedar Point is Awesome!!! 😎
Dev! Thank you for sharing Cedar Point with us. It was totally AWESOME!!!!!!

Waving from Michigan! Glad you made it to Cedar Point! It's a wonderful amusement park. 🎢
That is a difference between a theme park and a amusement park . It takes it's toll on your body...Great Park...Great Video

The memories. Growing up visiting Cedar and Kings Island were heaven! Enjoy Dev...😎
It makes my heart so happy to see you filming at my childhood park. All of my favorite coasters of all time are there!
Cedar Point is the best! That SUCKS about Dragster; was always one of my favorites. You have to go back sometime for that one.
Yay!! So glad to see you in our home park. We are season passholders for cedar point. I've been going here for 40 years, have so many good memories at cedar point.

But, soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
One of the original sitting and standing coasters has always been a cool bonus for the point as well 🤗
Such an awesome video and makes me definitely want to visit one day! Thank you for bringing us along and giving us the experience!

Oh yeah. On my list for sure. I heard the food is good there.
Getting season passes next year.

I love all the coasters there!! I take my daughter in law and nephew every year at least once!!
Thank you it is really good place ❤️
Next time pull the handle on that outhouse, There’s a surprise.
You didn’t ride Gemini or Skyhawk?
The Cedar Downs horse ride is great too. It’s 101 years old, and still very fun.
Great vlog. In a recent post I suggested you visit this park. I'm so happy it was on your itinerary. In my opinion it is among the best parks in the country. Thank you.
Welcome to Ohio!!! And that’s the Ohio weather for you. I’m shocked it didn’t snow, but I’m glad you was able to enjoy it.
Great video Dev! I agree about parks being open later. They can at least offer some late late hours during the busy months.
One of the best parks ever, but I dont recommend a Saturday for a first visit. The Breakers Hotel right outside the park on Lake Erie is another must see. But thanks for the visit, loved seeing the park thru your eyes. I have been going to CP sense 1975, it is a true gem.
Hugo's is awesome. That was a long wait. Everyone must have had the same idea. All day dining is the way to go.
Wow what a fun park!! Thanks so much for taking us along Dev, I hope one day I can get to a theme park again, safe journey home ❤️❤️
Cedar Point is the best! Glad you were able to make the trip to my home state!

I am so happy you made it to another bucket list theme park. I'm also happy you got to ride everything. I have great memories of that park. Keep up the great work!!
Having one of the only original wood and in door coaters has been pretty cool over the years.
I’ve always wanted to go here . So glad you did a video on this park.
Awesome seeing you at my home park, I'm a Cedar point season pass holder. I love Universal and Disney parks but Cedar point is still the best in the world imo 👍

👍
Better you than me my friend. I was there a very long time ago. There weren't that many coasters then. Happy to watch you.
Pulling on the door of the outhouse is something that my children really enjoy. Yes it is a hidden egg
Wow 🤩 for an old park it’s not bad at all !
