Malice K is one of the best of his generation… if you hear an expression as authentic as this and can only compare it to other artists you are prob projecting your own inauthenticity - long live the music of Mr. K ❤
Wish I could see more releases from malice. Seems like deathproof are more focused on their other artists but stuff like Malice gives them such an edge on a “unique” label

@@FuzzyNova ehhhh I mean same melody for sure ( I appreciate you looking in this) but he’s still an artist trying. I’m sure he will say he was inspired by them. Malice has done wonders of work as an artist and I’ve been following him for awhile. I’m sure he has a reason why it sounds so similar but the man is in the works to become something great. He’s made some classic bangers like Crazy, Cherry, and beautiful people. If they all came from other artists, I don’t mind. I love his work and I plan to see him live whenever he gets to florida. Overall, you might be right about his unoriginality but I love the music.

Personally I don’t think he sounds like anyone but himself. But, Maybe that’s the point of this song, like he says "trying hard to be someone else, but someone else is already taken" "I hit my head in hopes this part of me just breaks and I start over" like listen to the lyrics again with that in mind. Idk maybe it’s me overthinking, but that’s what I thought when I first seen everyone saying he ripped off this other song. I thought this song was really good honestly. It’s like when Kurt said in all apologies "what else can I write, I don’t have the right"

Happy I found this guy early. While u can def hear his inspiration it's refreshing to hear someone not just moaning on generically and actualy have some style, sounds like real music.
