From what i learned about this magic staff is... • The damage was meant to be same tier with Nebula Arcanum. • It's effects are considered strong enough to eradicate Providence without Auric or Demonshade armor. • If Nebula Blaze is included, the projectiles will burst out of portal.
Old Duke should honestly be fought right before Providence or after. There's almost no point in fighting him when all his drops become obsolete the moment you kill DOG.
@@Blightbox Interesting... I was thinking that he's too *difficult* for his stage, so they could buff all of his weapon drops. Besides, post-DoG is a little barren in the first place
Nerfing his hp, dmg and the power of his drops a tad bit would obviously be necessary if he was a pre providence boss. Post DOG would also work but Lore wise it feels a bit weird that a stinky old dragon fish is more powerful than a cosmic god eating serpent.
The accessories are at the start and to fall faster you can use the slime mount, normality relocator and there is also a setting in the calamity config that is called Enable Fast Falling but that should be on by default along with a bunch of other settings around movement and balancing.
Blood Orange, Miracle Fruit, Elderberry and Dragonfruit all increase hp by 25 each. They are all made with Lifefruit so use the guide or the recipe browser mod.

Old Duke isnt that hard imo, its just really annoying to fight cuz of his movement prediction
