Here’s a some tips: 1. If it’s blurry, move your face back from the screen! You could be to close. 2. Don’t try to force your eyes. It may take some practice for you to be able to change vision easily. Put your face in between the two pictures, look at the middle or bottom of your nose and you should be able to see three images if u back up a little. If it feels uncomfortable, try practicing it again. Remember, don’t force your eyes! It can damage them. Keep in note, if you do it correctly, your eyes should feel comfortable in that position. There shouldn’t be any pain. (Just know, not everyone is able to do these kinds of things.)
I found once I locked in it was a bit hard to come back out :-) But now I know what I am looking for and that I can do it without getting a headache immediately. Fascinating.
You can stop headaches by holding your hands up and covering your field of vision for both the right and left sides. Leave just the middle and you’ll actually feel very normal. If you want to get berry technical with it you can cut out a rectangle (or square) that fits the aspect ratio of the middle part you’ll be looking at, or in other words exactly half of the video screen size your looking at.
Couldnt see it at first but that pen trick worked at some point. you gotta hold a thin object so it covers the center of both images, then focus on that object thats closer to you and at a certain point your vision snaps to the combined image and you can take it away. It's cool how it appears to be smaller because it's the same size but your eyes perceive it to be closer so therefore smaller
Someone used dislike BOTS.... I saw that I pressed the dislike button when I didn’t press it at ALL. That idiot is using bots to harm one of the best channels on RUclips. That guy should be arrested!
I did it! The sunglasses helped. Didn't defocus all the way I thought it will hurt my eyes :D But in the end it does hurt a little bit. This is sooo cool

@@morn1415 Ha! yeah, It just dawned on me the next day at work why soo many vid's had them around the wrong way, I already commented on a few other vids by then to tell them they got it wrong, lol! Doh! :-)
Great stuff. I found I could see the 3D images really easily back when they came out in book form. After that, I do it everytime I see a double/multiple image piece, just to see if any 3D sense arises from it.
@@DGray-un2uy I never mentioned crossing my eyes. I'm fully aware the those images "mostly" involve letting the eyes relax and then superimposing one image over the other while in the relaxed state. There are, however, some 3-D images that require crossing the eyes; the opposite of relaxing them.
you don't have to cross your eyes!! cover your eyes with your hands so that your right hand covers the right half of the screen, and the left hand is covering te left half of the screen. Then your right eye sees automatically the left picture and your left eye sees the right picture! This is easy and you do not get an headache!
If you would do what you described without refocusing to the distance of your hands (which means crossing your eyes more, they are always crossed) you wouldn´t see the screen obviously. By putting your hands in front of your face you automatically refocus to the plane of your hands. That´s an uncommon approach, but if you get the right distance, it will work. Some people do that with looking at the tip of a pen. Main idea is a focus point between your face and the screen.
Sorry to hear. I have heard there is a certain percentage of people having no stereoscopic vision anyway to begin with without being aware. Do 3D movies in the cinema with the glasses do anything for you?
Finaly I fell it without any glasses or theater movies, 5:17 it was too 3D for me, but I can accept too as you said in here 0:42 second trick words also, but second trick isn't a cool, because it's be like our eyes goes to far view mode when we need close viewing mode, soo for better understand it worked and also it didn't hurt eyes but you know if we looking something far, we seeing another things in close but blunt, soo after my eyes went to far view mode video was too blunt, for better experience first trick is better but for easier second is better
hey uh i have a problem with crossed eyes, i can only cross the eyes to the position of the nose and when i try to look at the screen, it uncrosses WEIRD
All great. But I think the guiding pic in the video for the parallel method should be updated. When you look though the screen, you never have your eyes focus at a dot beyond the screen. Your eyes eyesight should remain parallel. You expect your eyes to focus at some plane beyond the screen (left & right sides of the plane simultaneously), not at the dot beyond the screen. In fact, eyes stay parallel and, therefore, technically speaking - UNfocused.
You should just take care not to force your eyes or strain your eye muscles. At the beginning people tend to do so, but it should be effortless. It is more a mind thing about persuading your eyes not to try to leave that position. So you don´t have to force them. It is about relaxing. I do this for a long time, and it has become natural for me. Also switching between the techniques. Take care not to be too close to the screen, otherwise the angle is too steep. Like looking at your nose the whole time. That can be exhausting for the eyes. Move away from the screen until it gets easier.
Why do you need to lock into the two dots just one of the screens looks 3D or both screens look3d but you only need the one you don't need the two screens identical. It looks 3D anyway without the dots and two screens
They are not identical. They have been created in a way to provide depth perception if combined. The images that both of your eyes create when looking at anything in your environment are also not the same, because they are at a slightly different position. Exactly this information is used by your brain to evaluate depth. If you look at your thumb with one eye or two should be a totally different feeling of space.
ULTIMATELY TIP: just up your nose a little and try to look at the tip of your nose, your eyes will cross... then try to keep it this way and try to watch the screen with your eyes still crossed. Dont’t get to much close.., adjust your distance until you get it. It really works, saddly this animations are boring as hell.

Happened! I used to see such pictures, videos - for the first time!
I acheived the most satisfying thing possible in this video (I got the crosseye exactly when the beatdrop happened)
This looks amazing how I could lock my eyes in one position
It took me like 5 seconds to start seeing it like im supposed to but then i just lock my eyes in place somehow and it works perfectly fine!
you can also hold up your hand to block half of the screen while cross eye then you only see the center of the three images.
This is a WONDERFUL tutorial! Thank you very much! ♥♥♥
i'm pretty sure i have voluntary diplopia, so i was able to achieve the 3D view with ease. this video is really cool!

The Magic Eye books are a different technique than crossing your eyes. With those books you look past the image. Cross eye you look in front.
