I really enjoy these 'Omnipotent ESP World Views' - watching players, just like you and I, roaming around just looking for fair loot and the amount of times you enter a building, open a door or turn a corner and somebody wastes you - it's fascinating seeing how decisions have consequences in Dayz!
Dayz is fairly unique in this sense. Now, some games do have decision based consequences, but it is primarily within a scripted framework you have choice A, B or C and you must choose either of them to progress to the next level. In Dayz, there is no next level, but the choices you make have short and long term consequences, which most of us are thoroughly unaware of.
So, do you kill that chicken in the field, or do you loot the next house for some food, do you take the road directly to the town/military or do you skirt around the field - do you make a fire in this house, or wait until the next house over the hill - all the decisions you make in game and the 'God Mode' view allows Tomato King to see how we miss each other by decision and seconds, very cool - very cool
I was enthralled with the same thing you are. someone hits a road and turns left. sees a player. decides to ambush...only to be dead in 2 minutes. if they just would have turned right, there was no one in sight. i cannot begin to tell you how often players are wrong about what they think happened.
one story i remember very well. Solar Bob and LE were in Hotchstatt. a player 700m NW killed wolves with a loud fx45. solar thought it was an unsuppressed pistol far. LE thought it was a suppressed rifle close. after a couple minutes of town clearing, a player that hadnt logged in, in at least 2 weeks, logged in right outside of town. LE killed him. the corpse had a suppressed rifle. both Solar Bob and LE believe LE was correct in his speculation. only i know the truth.
If only boomer's weapon didn't raise when the door opened, may well have knocked solar out

lol it happened 5 days ago and the time before that was like 3 months ago. its like running into a tree, they just slide off. but thats if i stand still and do nothing. when im moving, if they hit me, they wont even know it

in what way? you know they cant hear me or see me right? and i dont play the game anymore, not since november 2023. im too much of a dayz addict, the way i play.
now when you say admins letting ppl play in private, are you talking about me simply watching ppl? thats literally what admins have to do to catch cheaters and fix problems. admins shouldnt wait until theres a blazing fire to call the fire department...they should look for smoke BEFORE everything burns to the ground.

I play on community servers without admin tools and have not experienced a cheater yet.
You admins are a bunch of power hungry control freaks.
@@dayzpapi well idk where that last line came from...but that is so awesome you have never encountered cheaters on official! when i first started playing dayz, i played official for 4 months. i saw all the yt vids and ppl on dayz discord complaining about these cheaters that are everywhere...and my team never saw them. we thought everyone was blowing it out of proportion.
and then the cheaters came. every day, every week. then we moved. and a week in, the cheaters came. then we moved. then cheaters game. we couldnt stay on an official server for 2 weeks without seeing it. so we moved to community. but thats my experience.
