I love the solar panels, you don’t really see those often so it’s always fun to see!

I have incorporated some asthestics of this house into my own design of a build am planning. I just love the color pallete of interiors. It has so many warm touches that balance out the cold concrete walls and surfaces. I'd say the concrete surfaces and walls are tastefully done too. When you enter the main entrance and end up in the yard is a nice surprise as you'd expect to be entering house but then this open backyard opens up to you with views through the living room to the lake, it's just nice drama. This is a house that you can imagine living in on the daily unlike some of the coastal houses you feature on this channel that are too white and sterlile and not realistic as a normal use house but like a hotel with dedicated cleaning staff. This house punches above it's weight. Only the roof lines I would say are the not so good, not that they matter that much.

Hey, it’s a downdraft behind the cooktop. It pops up when in use. This is to achieve open plan with no overhead cupboards👌🏼

Thank You! There is custom made joinery throughout the house. Master ensuite has mirror-faced medicine cabinetry to combine functionality and aesthetics.

I am a bit shocked that there is no home office! Is it typical not to have a basement in houses in Australia? Here in Canada basements are the norm for most residential construction. I also think I would have done a rooftop deck given the location and the scenery around the house.
