Started checking out some of your awesome YT videos, and you have lots of really cool/smart ideas! So for starters I’m definitely going to try this one out on the foggy headlights, and the other video that got my attention was how to freshen up your mattress by applying baking soda! 👍🇨🇦
I'm gonna do this to my car today and i'm estimating it'll stay decent for about 3 or 4 months. That's about how long it lasted last time i did a de-fogging. Only, last time i used super fine grit sandpaper and a constant stream of water. I would also assume the age of the plastic affects how quickly it fades. My car's a 2006.
@@CleanWithConfidence I mean how long do the headlights stay clear? You can just rub in WD-40 to make the lights clear. It doesn't last that long but it just takes a few seconds.
@@CleanWithConfidence I kind of figured it was a temporary fix. But, I am wondering if maybe after fixing at your way or sanding, if maybe the headlight could be covered somehow like with auto wax or maybe a clear coat of spray lacquer it would make it more permanent?,
If you have an old car, why not clean it your way, that it works, you can do this every month. I have watch the other videos, where they use lot of products and procedures, the cheapest its $15 dollars, if your car is new new, of course go for it, but my car is old, I like the orance and baking soda, method, I guess the more you clean an polish the more oxide you can take out.
Might be something to research, although personally I dont think it will be on the paint long enough to do any damage since we rinse it off pretty fast.
I love this channel. It's so nice to get stuff like this tested quickly.
Happy to help!
I did this and it worked. Thank you.
Wonderful!! Happy to help🙂
"Half for my mouth." Wasn't expecting that! 😂😂🍊
Lol
This is very clever and helpful!! Thank you so much!!
Happy to help!
Thank you! I'm going to do this for my van 😊
Happy to help!
I have a couple of oranges in the house. I will get some baking soda tomorrow and clean my hazy headlights. Thanks

@@Jerry-yd8pj Thx for the info.
This is the cheapest and best way to clean head lamps, now I need to try it
How long does this last?
supposevly lol. by George I wonder if that works in missouri. I'm gonna try that
Will a lemon work?
A video about a dude cleaning headlights with an orange, and a guy rides by on a 4 wheeler. I love Arkansas!
lol
And I have another video called "How to remove Gum from Carpet" and you can hear gunshots in the background lol
Didn't really work for me! I did go over it several times and not much improvement to me.
if onions can take off rust from metal then?
It's certainly better!
👍🙂
I feel a lemon would work, just as, or even better possibly?
I agree
What does it look like after it dries off? The next day?
you rinse with water when you are finished

I’m wondering what the diff would be if you cleaned the left one with sponge and water?
Dat is how much
WOW!!!!
It's been 11 months since you posted this hack. How has your headlight held up? Has any of the fogginess returned?
I would say this is more of a temporary fix. The professional and proper way to do it is to sand it.

Repeat with baking soda toothpaste + clear coat.
I would think lemons would be better as seems.more acidic than orange.

“Suposiv-lee” lol same.
Hello pinkhead🙂
I want to understand this comment, but I confess I don’t get it. Could you explain it to me?
Nevermind I figured it out lol🙂
Word on the street right😉
He ate the other half, but he needed it for the other headlight
😂
just get a big tube of cheap toothpaste and rub your headlights clean.
It only last a few weeks
I tried everything, the best way is to buy new headlights!!!
Lol Thomas ur funny
Glad you enjoyed the video! :-)
Yes I did
Better to eat the Orange
I'm concerned about the acid on the car paint.
