This is probably the best comparison content out there at the moment, and for the time being not much to worry about. Time will tell if that opinion changes when they fully put their spin on the league's jerseys.
It has surprised me how many people are freaking out over the lack of dimples, it really doesnt matter. Fanatics did it right for this first year in not changing anything, we will see what happens in the future with the changes that inevitably occur.
You guys were a Dulles Mall? Shoot didn’t know you guys were local. Thanks for showing this I was planning on going to check them out to see how the quality was for the fanatics jerseys.
Wings fan here - I’m into the authentic on-ice jerseys. I attended two game last month and LCA team store carries the new fanatics on-ice jerseys. They also have an authentics section, where they sell game used jerseys, equipment, etc. comparing the adidas on-ice to the fanatics on-ice, I personally prefer the adidas system. The dimples made it look and feel much more official. The fanatics on-ice, to me, felt cheap without the dimples. Probably because the material uses for the shoulders were much more dense. Just my two cents.
I really need to see them in person. I don't know why I do not have confidence yet that the Fanatics Premium jerseys are the same as the Adidas Primegreens.
@@uglythirds We both feel the same with the future jerseys under Fanatics. I just don't want expensive garbage like they put out for MLB. Highly disappointing what Mitchell & Ness NHL jerseys have become since Fanatics took over them. I'm just minutes from their flagship store, too... which is in Philadelphia, by the way. Not far from Independence National Historical Park.
2025 season, Fantics "Premium" jersey is pretty much the same as last season Adidas Indonesia made jersey labelled authentic "what the pros wear" (even though what the pros wear was a deceiving description).
I was at a Dick's Sporting Goods last week (Bay Area/Sharks), and while that one did not still have Adidas to directly compare with the Fanatics they did carry, this did have an odd intertwined selection of screen print specials to actual chain stitched jerseys all mixed together. (All Logan Couture) The screen printed ones having the much maligned Fanatics crests and shoulder patches (shiny scratchy sticker type), yet actually have a sewn on name plate, despite said name being screen printed. I don't think the price points varied either, although paying $175 for printed over sewn, seems like a no brainer.
My Ex-Wife and I purchased 2 Fanatics Jerseys when the Washington Capitals won the 2018 Stanley Cup. We got the jerseys with the Stanley Cup patch on it. After only 2 washes, the nameplate and numbers started to peel off. We hang-dry all of our jerseys. We called the NHL shop and they let us exchange them for ADIDAS authentic jerseys. We did pay the difference to upgrade our jerseys and it was worth it. The quality of the Fanatics jerseys was awful and we were shocked that they approved these for sale. The rep at NHL store said they were getting a lot of returns for the same problem we had. I will only buy the authentic pro version if the quality is exactly the same that the player’s wear on the ice like they said they are. I did post this earlier and it had web sites in it. The web sites have been deleted to meet the posting guidelines.
@@uglythirds I guess for me the real test is how they will look when they are washed several times. Will they fall apart or will they be ok? Can you do a follow-up quality wise when you purchase them? I would really like to know your thoughts. Thanks.
@@Steve2112RushI guarantee that will not happen when you wash them. They’re quite literally identical to the adidas counterparts. They’re probably made in the same factories in Indonesia too
This is my genuine concern because I didn't want to spend that amount of money and it'd be it's terrible as those jerseys were. The MLB ones were abysmal.
@ exactly! I felt the same way and it seemed like many sports fans just assumed the NHL was going to do the same formula and ruin the uniforms like the MLB did. The MLB btw is going back to their previous specifications in an attempt to fix that disaster.
@@uglythirds Thanks much! I appreciate the quick response. With my Orders last year from the NHL online store I was shooting 50/50 for stitched vs heat pressed numbers on Custom Indo Authentic Adidas jerseys. The lack of consistency was annoying.
We've never had shoulder issues, all of our problems are in the chest and underarms. But the cut seems to be exactly the same, as we layered them in our Ducks videos. Whatever problems you had before, you still have now
Those are the 'premium' jerseys which is not the authentic the players wear, the 'authentic pro'. I wonder if they will have the authentic pro in retail stores soon, goes for $400 plus. Also they are made in Canada. Could you do a review on those if you find em?

Probably going for a authentic since I've never owned one during the Adidas era. I presume that they will be a upgrade comfort and fit wise compared to the indos?
I can't speak to MiC vs Indo vs anything else, we're fairly basic on the levels. Essentially it's the exact same thing as Adidas was, which is a worse fit than Reebok, but better crests/patches
@@JasonMurphy-photography lol exactly. Honestly, we were surprised that a Dicks in Virginia had even those. We took a chance and struck gold there. No idea what the upper level looks like

Nope, 1 to 1 to the Adidas version, which didn't sell an on-ice version (despite the lawsuit). And yet people, in these very comments, still say Fanatics is trash. I don't get it

The Adidas Jersey's shoulder's looked a lot nicer.
Not with those crappy dimples they didn't!!
Exact same product it seems, but I'm not a fan of their "F flag" logo thing. Just looks odd to me.
Same! That’s actually the only thing I hate on the jersey. They look even better quality than the adidas imo
