Whenever I watch your videos my figure wishlist gets updated and my wallet cries 🥺 (but I love it lol)
The close up shot of Luphia had me laughing for a good 10 minutes. She looks like she's picking her nose. Lol
Thankfully that’s not the way it’s supposed to be. The video had me second-guessing my own copy. But I double checked and the glove goes right onto the corner of the mouth. I think a little bit of heating under a hairdryer for a few moments will remedy the issue.
Oh my god, the last figure was honestly beautiful.

Also, on the topic of streetwear.. When I first stumbled across your channel I went full detective mode to find the shirt you were wearing which lead me to finding Kamifox and I spent waaay too much money. So thanks for that. 😅
I absolutely adore Mimi but yeah disassembling her to take off all that plastic was a nightmare. Her bikini straps are so delicate, unfortunately for me the top strap snapped when I took off her jacket and then the bottom one snapped when I was putting it back on 😓 But when she's displayed wearing it you can't really tell until you get up close and personal with her at least. She's definitely one of my favorites in my collection though

i have stella, mimi and yuu! they’re all absolutley gorgeous figures! i’ve always held back on buying luphia because she has more of a bad ass vibe than a cute vibe like the other 3 ladies but….. i think i need her!

I had ordered Stella off of GoodSmile back in August 2020 and just received her in July of this year due to constant delays and it was absolutely worth the wait! She looks amazing and I was pleasantly surprised when it came with the poster. I was not aware that the preorder came with it as it did not list a preorder bonus on the U.S website but I checked the Japanese GoodSmile and it showed the bonus. Can’t wait to set her up!
Aw yes, saitom haul! :D I adore the Stella figure! Found out about her from one of Gwyn's videos and knew I had to get her (watching figure collector videos has been so dangerous for me/my wallet lol). Worth it though, the details are just amazing. I really like Luphia too but I feel like that issue with the glove would also drive me crazy so I didn't go for her. :( So tempting tho!
I hope to be able to collect figures like this one day, Now I only have cheap 30$ one. Lookign forward to getting a real collection and getting myself some nice ones, watching your vids inspire me :D
the glove should be near/attached to her mouth (mine did) and I saw some comments on mfc that you could heat bend the glove to the right position, maybe there are some more comments on mfc explaining how to do it with like a hair dryer or hot water.
Your channel is dangerous. After I watched this video I went and sought out Stella and PO'd the gold Usada Mimi.
Very nice saitom haul. My first saitom figure I got was the 2013 racing Miku. I unfortunately didn't know of saitom back then. It was only until I picked Usada Yuu, I investigated who saitom was. Ever since then I've been picking up their artbooks.
Also I'm so glad EMS is back in Australia but at the same time I had to clear out my items I have stocked up at Buyee's warehouse, which cost roughly $700 AUD to ship💀
You can definitely have Stella on top of luphia’s base like you had it, you just need to adjust it so that Luphia will sit on top of Stella’s base (Luphia’s weight should keep Stella in place) Love the unboxing, keep up the good works
Ah for luphia I warm that part with hair dryer position it correctly and the dunk it on cold water to secure it after its done, dry the figure meticulously haha, till now it's still not moving.
So I just checked my Lufia. Fingertip of glove goes right to corner of mouth like directly touching. I would be willing to bet there’s a good chance some warmth from a hair dryer will allow you to reposition it. It is definitely off from where it’s supposed to be on your copy.
I wanted to pre-order that Stella but held off to save some money then. After seeing your video I wish I had gotten her though! Plus now trying to find that DF book anywhere.

Love these saitom figures. Need to let you know, though, that if it wasn’t because of your previous videos, I wouldn’t know who saitom is. I don’t have the DF ones but I lucked out on Mimi as a C/B grade on Ami2 - her C damage was that the bikini top’s clasp was damaged - I actually took a risk buying her as I hoped that her puffer jacket will keep the top in place, and it did! 19000JPY for an 18000JPY RRP figure which has a resale price that is otherwise essentially bonkers!
I remembered from an older video that you were mulling over whether to get the standard vs pink recolor sister (Yuu) - both of them were frequently on the preowned page of AmiAmi and they didn’t disappear in seconds like they used to… I do hope this video was shot at that time and you actually have bought one! Will check out the Patreon vid later as I see you will showing a figure that I’ve been hunting high and low for…^_^

I feel super fortunate that my luphia has her glove almost perfectly how it's supposed to be. wonder if you can fix it with heat and bending it a bit....sounds scary though.
The thing with cast-offs is that they have to look good in any form of display. Whether with all of the sculpted outfits or not. This is what I have found in my travels through collecting.

Have you seen the Astrum Design Masked Girl Luna? She's gorgeous and I think it would fit perfectly with these 3 as she's very fashionable :>

I was lucky and my Luphia actually has a hand that almost perfectly lines up with her mouth. It is only one or two millimetres away.
I got her last week at a German convention after eyeing her for a while but after seeing her in one of Gwyn's videos and seeing that you don't actually see "anything"
I don't collect R18 figures or too lewd figures so that was the deciding factor since she was right on the edge. Actually she is the first lewder figure that I own.

I always thought "hey wasn't there an anime called Stella?" so I had a hard time following the discussions around the figure since the image in my head was never what it really was.
If they weren't going to have the glove line up with her lips they should have just sculpted it on her finger fully instead so it doesn't look like a deflated pointer finger hovering near her nose LOL
Still though, the aesthetic of that figure is so worth it

Your Luphia is the worst I’ve seen. I didn’t know it was a problem until a few other RUclipsrs mentioned it, then I saw it on mfc. I had snagged mine from an Amiami cancellation at the last moment, and her glove end by her mouth like it supposed to. I love saitom myself, I have the OG Yuu and Kerry/Kelly bunny on top of Mimi and Stella. Nice to see you have good taste though.
