Absolutely agree. Am in UK and its very difficult to stay focused with everything thats going on. Stopped working so modelling is a great refuge in these difficult times.
Tamiya really missed the mark by not including an engine. I mean, the engine is what makes this car. It just doesn't make any sense because people would gladly pay more if an engine was including knowing the quality of kits that tamiya puts out
Never understood how tamiya goes all in on it’s aircraft and motorcycle kit’s detail, yet always makes curb side car kits. I mean yeah a 1/32 corsair is a pricey kit, and very cool, but I would drop a 100 bucks on a “tamiyan” engineered car kit with an engine and drive train. And yes I did get the corsair lol. Thanks guys! Stay safe!
That's for sure, I just built the Tamiya Mercedes-AMG GT3 and the hood doesn't open either and no motor. It wouldn't take much to have an extra sprue of parts for a motor for these kits and for the price they should have a motor and drive train
Andy, Love your videos but find the audio fluctuates quite a bit. I have to turn my speakers from 3 bars to 12 (out of 16 bars on my system) to hear clearly. The worst is when you are sitting at the table facing the camera. The best is when the camera is looking away from you toward the model. I suspect it is due to what ever microphone you are using and/or the position of the microphone. The content of the video is , as usual, excellent.
When is Tamiya gonna make full show kits not these curb side "Kiddie" Cars? I have yet to build my Countach and wanted this Kit but they all build curb side, I suppose one could buy after market parts and cut hood out but by then you could be buying an Aoshima or Fujimi kit and call it done lol. Great video guys I still plan to grab this one but Tamiya should really lower their prices if the kits aren't going to be complete.
hi Andy. thanks for the video . But i'm sorry for saying but that kit is horrible made.. Take a look at that rear wing!! and why couldn't he get those mirrors done? And that left rear wheel is not even straight.. If that is his level of building,i'm sorry but it's a waste of that kit... He should have taking a bit more time...
Great review, guys! I agree Tamiya has done their usual wonderful job, but I'd be more interested in a fully-detailed stock Mustang with the option to build the model with either the four- or eight-cylinder engine. I think the clean lines of this model and opening the hood up and seeing a detailed engine would more than make up for the big spoiler, the roll cage, and so on.
Fifty-something dollars for a curbside! Tamiya must be dreaming. I better buy one of their better older kits for less than half price, with an engine! Neat build, Luka, well done!
Canadian built race car......shouldn't we get the first round of sales? I know, wishful thinking on my part. Very excited about this release. I've been hoping Tamiya would do this since the release of the 1/10th RC car last year. Thank you Tamiya. I can't wait to get one. I know Michael @ Indycals will be doing a bunch of the liveries for this car, which I do not know yet, but they will be coming.
I build mainly aircraft and armor. I'm a large automotive freak but don't build vehicle models. I'm definitely getting this. The s550 gt350 is such a beautiful vehicle and this is coming from a chevy fan.
Hello Andy. Great work, I have learned a lot from your videos. I have one question . I am getting ready to paint a tiger 1 early from Kursk 1943. I have doubts about the base paint, was it dark yellow or grey and painted in dark yellow over it. Thanks, Andy.
Hi, Andy!!!! God bless your back!!! Yeah videos!!!!! Sand bag up Andy if you need to . But your back with videos cool Andy super Tamiya kit!!!! Andy lets do some Armor next!!!!! Cheers brother its so refreshing to see you back in action your videos are always so fun and cheerful Love them!!!!! Thank you Andy !!!!
Andy,i really love your viedo, although my english is still not good enough to understand what you’re saying, mabye you can consider about adding a subtitle on your video😂😂but thank you to teach me all the detail in making models, not only the military panzer but also this sport car, keep going in this tough time hope you everything goes well.
Andy I have a request. Do you think that you could make a video showing how you clean your airbrush in-between swapping colors, as well as at the end of painting sessions? I already saw your video on the occasional deep clean, just curious about more frequent cleanings. Thank you and keep up the great vids 🙂
Hey Andy, nice video! I'm from Australia, and I'd just like to say thank you! My family has been in quarantine because a few members are being tested for coronavirus, and during the time that I can't go to school, I have nothing to do. Without your channel, I would be going crazy! I have been rewatching your old videos, and just a suggestion, could you try to upload more videos on dioramas? Thanks. Stay safe!
Great video and once again , another superb Tamiya product. What's even more amazing is how Tamiya models have captivated the interest of loyal modelers over the decades. Especially the more mature modelers who grew up with Tamiya!
hey, maybe you can make one in camouflage optic like a Tank? Would be cool. Keep on with the nice Videos, I am a great fan of you. Greetings from quarantine.
Bad timing for Tamiya but I hope this kit sells well for them, I’m sure it will. I definitely want to pick one up for myself, I think it’d look great in the battleship grey on the box art, that’s how I’d paint it, nice vid Andy, good luck to you.
I'd downvote the video but my complaint isn't with you or Luka or the video itself. That car's hood doesn't open. Really? Fifty frickin' dollars and *the hood doesn't open*? For that matter I didn't see enough underhood detail to make the hood worth opening- the engine itself was like a pathetic low-poly videogame model. For that much money I am NOT sculpting details out of sprue that should be in the dang kit. Car kits have gone downhill in quality while skyrocketing in cost. I get that you're in the business of selling them and have no control over the manufacturers' decisions but that's just ridiculous. I suppose that today's younger modelers who don't know any better will buy them, and the manufacturers are not motivated to do better. Not me. Keep showcasing junk like that and I'll go elsewhere for my modeling fix.
Mark Fergerson So at the start of your comment you say you’ve no complaint with Andy etc, yet at the end of it you do make a complaint against Andy, saying that if he promotes such kits again you’ll go elsewhere “for your modelling fix”. Kinda hypocritical to me.
Great kit and awesome to have Luka C sit in on the video. Pure class all round 👍
Thanks 👍
Wow that's cool Tamiya venturing into the domestic sports car area which is normally found in monogram Revell and even AMT
Great new kit thanks to both of you Andy
Andy, keep us all going during these tough times. Model making for the homebound would be a great moral booster.
Absolutely agree. Am in UK and its very difficult to stay focused with everything thats going on. Stopped working so modelling is a great refuge in these difficult times.
Ain't coming any earlier with this Corona bonah gem hitting us
👍👍👍
Hey Andy where did you get those right angled tweezers, checked your online store but didn't see them.
Tamiya really missed the mark by not including an engine. I mean, the engine is what makes this car. It just doesn't make any sense because people would gladly pay more if an engine was including knowing the quality of kits that tamiya puts out
Imagine that rain is snow, now you know what being a Canadian is like.
Eh?
Snow? What is that? I am going to cut the lawn tomorrow, but we have to put up with things like that on the west coast.
haha everyone is freaking out about home quarantining, that's what it's like to live in Northern Ontario in the winter hahaha

Andy & Luka! About time the dream team connected again ♡
Sad they put so much detail but cant have a simple opening hood
That's for sure, I just built the Tamiya Mercedes-AMG GT3 and the hood doesn't open either and no motor. It wouldn't take much to have an extra sprue of parts for a motor for these kits and for the price they should have a motor and drive train

Awesome video, Andy. I always like a mustang! I have one from 1966.

should have jumped into your trumpeter titanic hull and gone for a paddle :)

I think too many tubers talk about model kits instead of just building them....reviews are not needed....just build already
You didnt put the link to Luca Cees channel
My sister lives in Arizona. I've seen your rains. One time it was coming down in sheets. Maybe "down" is the wrong word. It was coming *sideways!*
I'll see you sheets and raise you a metre of rain in 24 hours...
Great review, guys!

Do you know what color is used for the wheels in the German Gray build?
damn, it comes with masking tape. that's super convenient.
Its a bit pricey 53us roughly 48euros
oh my so have your own shop...tamiya franchisee...nice
Hi Andy
I really hope these kits take off. I would love to see Tamiya make us a Hellcat or an ACR Viper.
That would be cool
They should have a motor and drive train
Fifty-something dollars for a curbside!
Tamiya must be dreaming. I better buy one of their better older kits for less than half price, with an engine!

Depends where you live. I've seen it for 32 dollars on some online stores
Super excited! I just ordered the Takom MKIV 2 in1 from Andy. You have an excellent selection. Keep it going!
Nice kit Andy love you models builds

Very nice..I just won this kit from Tamiya USA
Is this an rc car
No.

Nice video as always. A bit underwhelmed by the white color though. The box art looks amazing.
hey, maybe you can make one in camouflage optic like a Tank? Would be cool. Keep on with the nice Videos, I am a great fan of you. Greetings from quarantine.
Looks like another one for me to get
I'd love a bunch of variants of the mustang in street form. A Bullit addition, GT-350, GT500 etc. My wallet would t love it, but I sure would.

Superb video and fantastic looking kit.. well done LC on the great build too. ☺️👍🏻
Or how about a mad max type car....but one could always convert it to sone type of super mad max maxhine!!!!
Hi Andy. Would you like to make a video about making scale buildings?
Hey I was just wondering if when tamiya mark fit is applied and dries will it leave a shiny spot on the model?
Another fantastic looking kit from tamiya can't wait for you to build this one Andy Steve 🇬🇧
Oh my goodness that rain is intense. I had no clue this kit was coming, so cool!
Indeed, just about the only S550 Mustang model out there (worth having) :(
Hi Andy just want to say thank you as I built a lot of Lego models based on your videos!
I will definitely be buying one of these kits!! Thanks Andy and Luka!!
Great looking kit! When are you going to be building the rpg models phalanx?
A light shower, as we call it in the UK 😉😉
Does Luca remember how to build a model? Masters never forget!!
I do not cars but I do like your show. Stay safe and healthy!
Sounds like a good time to dig into the stash!
Another day, another model... so nice to see another video from you!
YTTM
I can not wait to visit your store Andy. Be prepared to take my money.
glad too see they finally finished the road construction when i visited last April on my vacation
Very interesting model video!
Heyu Andy, Where you located, I live in tempe
Thanks for getting this done, I have been dying to see this kit and looking foreword to getting one.
Looks ace! Can’t wait to get a couple.
Has it been released? I’ve got the Ford GT
They should do one in a larger scale too!
Just did the same thing here in Mesa......wild weather today
Great kit, I’m going to have to get one
I have to get this.
What happened to the audio?
Henh heh
Great Mustang! Would you like to build KV-1 from Tamiya, M4A3 or M4A3E2 in 1/35 scale? Thank you.
He has done the M4A3E8 from Tamiya, and the M4A3 (76) from Academy
Mengs new Jumbo M4A3E2 Jumbo ?!?!?
@@donfrandsen7778 YES.
Nice kit.
Be safe Andy i like your videos
thank you
