We are ready now to finally travel and I have been taking snapshots of the names of these mines you two have visited and I totally want to hit them on our travels in AR. You guys are still my inspiration for getting out there and conquering my chronic pain and pushing through to experience everything that life has to offer. Thank you for giving me hope ❤️

    Twin Creek! Bobby and Toni, i enjoy seeing them and talking with them:) i have gone to TC six times in two years. Pocket digs are amazing, challenging and you get some sick clusters and singles. You work for it, i love to earn it! I am interested in this Avatar Mine… BTW the sign with the Raccoon I made that! Love me some Twin Creek!

      We loved Twin creek too! It was more of a real mine experience and we had to have some knowledge to find the crystals but the reward was the most unique crystals we have ever found including one with blue inclusions and some blue phantoms! We love that sign! Thats so cool that you made it! We didn't get to do the pocket dig and only sent one day at Twin Creek but plan on doing the pocket dig next time and we will definitely put up a video of it to show what we find! We love a challenge and know it will pay off! Thanks for commenting and watching!

    Ron Coleman was the very first mine I ever went to and it definitely hooked me. It is my go to for a Quik trip when I just wanna dig in the dirt and know I’m gonna find a few things. I love the way you did the comparison of the differences between the two mines and hope to watch you do some more.

    Just came back from Ron Coleman’s last week. It was our first time digging and I really enjoyed it. Very accessible and great for kids. Only thing I regret not bringing along was an umbrella to shade us from the sun. It got so hot for my granddaughter that we left earlier than I’d planned. Thanks for a great video!

    Comming from Massachusetts getting lost last year. Found myself lost in the mountains ⛰ at the crystal mine didn't stay but wanted to return one day. So beautiful ,I think they where #registered so didn't stay was so lost found myself there. Feel a connection some how.Should of stayed. Drove my car on wicked back scary. Wasn't shure if I get in trouble. Must of been twin peaks way up in the mountains ⛰

    I love watching the excitement and wow 😮 when the big crystals are pulled out. I've lived in Tacoma, Washington, all my life. I had no idea about going out and looking for crystals. I've been watching Brian go into the different states where you can dig up these wonderful crystals. I've watched one where you pulled out one beautiful crystal. That was awesome. Thanks and thumbs-up for sharing your finds .

    At coleman mine back in the 90s it was ten bucks a day and i left after about 7 hours with 2 five gallon buckets full of points and small clusters. I found a large specimen around 4 ft around but it was too heavy to take by myself and i didnt want to break it up so i left it for someone more industrious to find lol
    I ended up selling crystals and jewelry made from some of them for a few years and probably made thousands. It was heavily coated in iron and was a pain to clean, but well worth it.
    I would say one thing worth stressing...bring a cooler full of ice, drinks, and snacks. Bring more and heavier tools than youll expect to need, and if possible bring 2 or 3 people to help. Idk about now but when i went there i had to drive up a steep dry creek bed in a station wagon and im amazed i didnt end up stranded. Hopefully there is a better road to the mine now lol. Just my two cents

    I like twin creek the best because of being in the mine. The quality is much better there I’ve been there about 15 times. Like the atmosphere best. I found bigger crystals at ron coleman and more of them but almost all were damaged and chipped. So I will call twin creek a better location because most of the crystals are in perfect condition. Plus it is a more beautiful location and the ladies who work there are more personable. It’s more work but it’s worth it. Plus Bobby has had this mine his whole life and really knows his business. If he tells you where to look, then you will definitely find goodie’s 👍😎 Happy Trials

      Yeah thats what we loved about twin creek! The crystals were more unique and had amazing quality! The size at Ron Coleman was a first for us so it was exciting but we plan on doing twin creek more often! We plan on paying for the pocket digs so we can really get the best out of twin creek!

    Ron Coleman’s is my favorite place to dig in tailings. Always leave with lots of beautiful crystals, whether it be in new or old piles. Haven’t made it to Twin Creek yet. Price is a deterrent for me, but the idea of digging in a pocket is exciting. I had heard you had to buy what you pull out and that was a major game changer for me. Good to know that isn’t the case. Will have to save up and check it out! My second favorite place to dig is Avatar Mine in Mt. Ida. Hope you can someday check it out. Thanks for the review. Many blessings and Safe travels. 💜

    • @NicholetteBrian
      @NicholetteBrian  2 года назад

      Yes we love the tailings at Ron Coleman too! We did both the week we were there (and the diamond mine) and twin creek was worth it. The $25 dig won't produce the quantity or size of Ron Coleman but we are hopeful for the $100 pocket dig and think that might be more productive! Let us know if you end up going and we will post a video when we do!

    At Coleman you’re not allowed in the mine itself. You can only go through their tailings. At twin you can buy any price pocket from 100 to whatever you’re willing to pay. It determines how much of a vein is opened by machines. We got a $600 pocket and loaded a truck bed 3 layers deep with clusters

    We loved The Twin Creek! The crystals we found were very pristine and we felt we had more freedom. I haven’t had much luck a Ron’s, only because I think, because we’ve always went on Sunday. We are planning a week day trip.
    We usually go for a fast trip to Miller Mountain. It can be a hard dig, but it’s cheap.

      Thankyou! Yes, we can't wait to go back there and do a seam! I did finally go back and dug a pocket with a friend of mine. Bobby had one ready but when I got there he had left for a family emergency. Got to the pocket but bandits had raided me out over night! Without a heavy equipment operator, the peeps there did what they could to make it right but it wasn't like any of the previous experiences I had before. I thank them for thier efforts but I didn't get what I normally do. I was disappointed, but only in that regard. The experience was still a good one, especially for my friend, who is now hooked! Lol. As fortune would have it, next day we were heading out and back to Ohio when I needed gas. As I was filling up Bobby came out of the store and we chatted! He, being himself, was very apologetic and promised to make it right on my next trip! So how can you beat that? I still have only positive review for the place, Bobby and his team!
