Never been there when fresh material came up. Good for you. I hope to go again someday. Your video was very encouraging and glad you had some nice crystal finds !!!!
Thanks Mark! I was honestly a little worried the first half of the trip, but it turned out well by the end of it. The whole thing is kind of a picture of the rockhound experience in general. You always wonder if you'll find anything when you first start, and when you do, it just makes your day and you walk away happy.
That was awesome! My first time watching anyone look for crystals, I had no idea it could be that exciting. My daughter recently moved to little rock and I’m trying to encourage her yo get out there so I can live vicariously through her. I love rocks and all earth’s little treasures. Do you think Ron Coleman’s would be a good place to start? Also, she has kids, would they be able to come too? Is there a fee for them as well? Thanks again for your time, effort and willingness to share your experience. I very much enjoyed it. I’ll check out the rest of your content. Sorry my comment is so long, it just keeps going! ❤
@@karyncarson4721 yes, I was there on Friday and saw that. I have a new video coming out for Ron Coleman and for a basket in the next few days, maybe a week? I’m working on it now, actually. lol Thanks for watching and have a wonderful evening!!
Cool yep we need to meet up this spring you’ll be the first rockhound I’ve met in person who’s taller than me 😂 everybody says Ron Colman but I don’t know… I don’t like the vibe. I do need some cool Arkansas crystals though I’m getting low
Yeah, each place has it’s own dynamic. At Twin Creek, you can work the wall or go through tailings, same with Sweet Surrender. At the Coleman mines you go through tailings. Crystal Vista and Crystal Seen are more natural mines, and you’re out in the woods and can feel like you have the place to yourself. 3 of my kids were going to go to Ron Coleman’s with me that day, but backed out when I got them up that morning. I already had equipment packed in the car for Ron Coleman, and didn’t have any equipment for working a wall at Twin Creek, so I decided to go ahead and stick with Ron Coleman. I was hoping to do the zip line, but will have to wait until the spring.
That was my first time in about a year and a half. Out of all the mines there, I have probably been to Ron Coleman and Crystal Vista the most. Every mine in that area has it’s own dynamic, with pros and cons. If you are traveling from far away, I would recommend trying a few of the mines to get a “feel” for them.
Amazing 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Love the rainbow 🌈 ones too! Thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you for showing the reality, sometimes.
I have another video for this location coming up in a few days!! 😊
Nicely done video. Not sure I want to get down and dirty in the clay. Super finds! Thanks for sharing!
The little boy in me LOVED it!! Ha!

Do they allow you to take buckets of dirt to process at home or only crystals?
How often do you go?
I’d love to go someday!!
