HAPPY NEW YEAR!
As tradition, I’m kicking off the new year with a little video recapping 2023 and sharing some of my plans for 2024. It’s a deep dive into the life of Shannon so strap in!! I answer questions that my past self asked at the beginning of 2023 and ask some new questions that future me will answer at the beginning of 2025!
Thank you all for your support throughout this past year, it’s been a hell of a year! 2023 had so many highlights and I cant wait to see what 2024 has in store! I hope 2024 brings you endless opportunities, laughter and happy memories!

As a cabin crew myself, it was oddly refreshing hearing your take on the job because I can relate so much to everything you said and felt. Love your videos Shannon, looking forward to watching them over the next year! Gutted for you that your Cabin Crew role didn't pan out how you wanted it to but mental health always takes priority and keeping my fingers crossed you will be able to find a job you love!
I turned 25 last year and am very grateful to say I moved out from home but it is tough to do!!
The one thing based off my experience I can say (if you were to live in the UK) is to maybe look at 1 or 2 bed flats/apartments as a little starter home. They're cheaper to buy in most cases than houses and the bills are cheaper than I expected them to be. But hopefully over the next couple of years the housing market will calm down!!
Aw thank you! I know, I’m gutted, I mean you never know, it could all change and I could fall back in love with it. Currently I don’t see that happening, but you never know!
Oh congrats on your move! I hope you had a fab birthday too! I definitely think if I found my self in a position where I had to move out then that’s what I would look at. Fingers crossed the market calms down🤞🏼🤞🏼

Ahhh man that sucks that you have been struggling with the BA work. I would say go and look at working for TUI as a resort performer but that's probably tricky in a relationship. I was a holiday rep and after the initial anxiety I made life long relationship with the guys that I worked with 1 now share my eldest daughter with haha. World highly recommend working abroad while you can before life gets ti messy with bills and creating mini human beans

You should try out a career as an entertainer on a cruise line like Virgin Voyages. Match made in heaven for you, I would think. Travelling and surrounded my friends/colleagues old and new constantly.

Also thanks for being so honest re Cabin crew. You will find something this year that suits u more. It’s not worth it if it affects your health. What’s for u won’t pass u as they say. Best wishes for 2024. Any industry would be lucky to have u
