I don't know where you get these ideas but I love them your so clever , will be a cute item anywhere. Would love to have seen the finished object after a couple of hours all dried out and cooled
Out of curiosity, how would one undo the process? I can see how people would enjoy this, but I recently received one as a gift and its just not my thing. I would hate to discard a perfectly good stuffed animal if there was a way to remove the wax even only part way.
That's actually next weeks video :) For personal use, it can still be made in to candles. But if it is a candle you are going to sell, I wouldn't risk it having some leftover contaminates. It can however still be used for something I like to call "Campfire in a Can" make sure you check out next week :)
I love your videos. I know you mentioned not to use Soy wax on the bears, I was wondering if maybe Coconut wax could be used instead of Paraffin wax? Thanks
Hey Tim, I was wondering about your clean up process. Mostly about cleaning your gloves after each use and if you change gloves or how you clean your gloves if you are making multiple Wax Dipped Teddy Bears? Thank you in advance.
Dexi so agree with you, I am sorry but I been laughing none stop since I saw this video, what human can do more to survive 🤣🤣🤣when life is so simple lol
To gently scent your room as a cute decoration. A lot of people use them in a babies room (or a child's room) to keep it smelling nice. We used to have them in nursing facilities to keep residents rooms smelling fresh. There is a fragrance that is an odor eliminator that works very well, as it is meant to destroy odors. Like the bottles of product you can buy to eliminate dog/cat urine odors. Hope this answers your question!
Awww, the bears are so cute! Where did you buy your bears to dip in wax? It's hard to find bears any more that are stuffed with all polyester filling. Like you mentioned most are filled with the beads. I bet those bears will end up in your daughters room. They are just adorable. Oh, and by the way, can you please stop using my last name as an insult, lol!!! I'm kidding, but I've had people use it in some pretty harsh ways, lol! Have a great evening.
@@pauletteyoung1015 I have only seen them, like I said in the Nursing facility I worked in. They retailed at 25.00$ to 30.00$ a piece. I think the bears are quite inexpensive. So, I would imagine they cost about 10 dollars to make at the most, so your profit margene is great!
@@pauletteyoung1015 Oh lol!!! Yeah, sometimes it's gross and sometimes it's Gross, lol! I make more with my own skin care line than I did as a nurse, imagine that!
This has been a "thing" for as long as I can remember. I remember seeing them in the hospital gift shop in the early '80's when I was bored and running around the hospital while my grandfather was a patient or my father was doing ministerial rounds and I went with him (I was only 9-10 during that time).
Well.. it's different. My peeps would faintt if they saw you drowning those cute little bears. Lol We would open the back, insert a smelly thing, then sem them back closed. It's ok, I put the rose video out to a select handful of people. They will send it to the appropriate crowds. Watch how fast the views go up. 😀 Maybe even your subs.
@@TimberRidgeGifts I sure hope so. Your a great teacher. Maybe we can get your channel up so you can be a RUclipsr/Candle maker and quit your security job by the end of this year. (Would be super awesome for us, and, your family)
This is a best seller in my town. I make them for every occasion! I love making them! 🐻
Hi! What wax do you use for these? I have been using golden wax 415. I want to stick to soy wax. Is that okay?

How long will the scent last approximately? Thanks
For this size bear, about 2 months.
what do you do with the left over wax ?

Technically it will still work. But the plant and vegetable based waxes will be a lot greasier to the touch.

I like the idea of wax dipped roses, this one seems like an early april fools joke, lol.

I'm sorry, but why would anyone like this? Perhaps I am missing something. (Also, the likelihood of leaving it in a car to melt is high.)
