My 885 has lasted me 10 years, only changed out the brushes+regreased it a few times but still runs like new!! Do have 887+850 but the 885 is my go to!!😊
That’s how you overheat and ruin a drill because it is not made for that, suck up the 2 extra seconds and use the right tool. If you’re putting just a couple screws in it’s fine to use a drill but it is NOT made for driving screws like that.
You should only care about durability... if a tool takes a second or 2 to perform.. it won't make a difference in your day.. if it actually burns out or breaks on you that's when it should matter.
Can we talk about the fact that the writing on the Festool impact wrench corresponds to the same time as that of the Hercules impact wrench, even though the Festool took 8.50 seconds. So the writing on the Festool impact wrench has been swapped accidentally.😅
So as a guy who actually uses these tools all day I’m not looking for which one can drive the fastest I’m looking at weight how comfortable is it in the hand how well does it ride on my belt they all have more than enough power to drive the screws they are designed to drive so when I watch the RUclips clowns doing this test and only this test it’s cringe worthy
@@Hollows_over_balls I suppose if you a part of the brain washed red cult that’s what you believe to everybody else who have used multiple brands Milwaukee is meh
These sort of tests are ok but they don’t really matter in the real world on site. All main brand tools are decent enough to get any job done. Reliability is important though. There’s only been one instance where I wished my makita impact driver had a little more power and I just ended up using an impact wrench instead..
Don’t think Festool builds for speed as much as comfort and control and longevity. Can’t say for sure but at their prices and only seems to be around master craftsmen that use or can afford them. Like I heard that gentleman does not have to be there he has plenty of people working for him.
I love that the best test of an impact is a speed test? They aren’t cars dude, to do more elaborate testing you have to do a check list of different test, numerous times, to compare
Looks like festool lost. For anyone who owns festool and is hurt, I’ll swap u all my tools for yours cuz we all know in most things in the wood shop they r the standard
Im a big user of Hercules DeWalt, and started on the M12 platform due to the small form of the battery. I also have a few Festool in my shop Domino, Track Saw, OF1010.... I prefer Festool tools due to the ingenuity of the platform system, and the ergonomics. It's by far the best manufacturer of tools for craftsmans. Its not catered for construction, its catered for skilled finishers.
OMG!!! You mean they all did the job? I was not expecting flagship models to do that? Buy the tool that does the job for you. Treat it well and it will treat you well.
Okay so if somebody is going to spend the money and actually use it that means you actually have to have a real skill level like a wood worker not somebody that does framing or remodeling houses but if that's what you're trying to and then stick with the typical brands brands and pretend that you're the real bada$$

This is where you put your impact driver away and pull out your drill
No

@@spencermallory9229 is this why most have a setting with a screw as the symbol?

For the price and warranty, it's very hard to beat the Hercules. That little impact with a 5ah battery is very impressive for what it cost!!

Many modern 18v tools will perform similarly. The real test is longevity.
I have the milwaukee one and it kicks
😂 I see you changed the lineup at the end 😮😅
Reason why festool takes longer is bc it is made to last 10-15 years in your arsenal. Better than having the tool for 3-5 years just to buy a new one.

Couldn't have said it better myself
Well as a guy that also uses these all day I am looking for the fastest because they all feel the same and weight about the same
Anyways Milwaukee is better

So if you're doing it all day, wouldn't you want to get it done faster?
Gotta get the 4 mode Ridgid in there.
What about Mastercraft
I just wanna know what jacket that is
That wasn’t what I was expecting 😮
The festool showed 8:50 and you put 7:58!! How can anyone take you or this test seriously???
Nah just a second difference, we need speed of light!
Great test, you forgot the Flex tho
Sorry, nothing beats the Red Sea lol
Except Flex and Hercules
I wanna see full battery, how many and how fast can u do before battery runs out

The regular drill would drill that faster believe it or not 😂

Milwaukee thé best 💪🏼🦁

It's the same with fein and metabo I guess you could include Bosch in the mix they are not the fastest but will last you years

That's because your supposed to use a drill not a impact for this
What about the FLEX 24V FX1371A IMPACT DRIVER?
Best on the market is Milwaukee and a fraction of the price of festool .... I'll stay with Milwaukee
Milwaukee is heavy! Amazing tools. But heavy.
@@NickCageMusic .... hence the phrase they use "heavy duty" it's all because of the components used to build the tools
Festool isn't for that type of work 😊
2015 887>Hercules
Nooooo hercul champion 🥱
You could easily press less harder and no body will ever know...
Speed isnt everything....i bet that festool will live a very long time
Doubt it. It looked like it was struggling

Those are not the most power on market dewalt and flex are shittin on milwaukee. Nothing comes close to ehat they are pushing
Once again, don't care for those tests 😅
like most things in life there is a difference between youtube wannabes and real life day in and day out tradespeople .
OMG!!! You mean they all did the job? I was not expecting flagship models to do that? Buy the tool that does the job for you. Treat it well and it will treat you well.
yeah flex tool will beat them
I’ll take the Festool hands down!!
Milwaukee or nothin
Makita
